All great signings if they come off. Asked an Italian mate of mine about Anderson and he says he’s the real deal.Jinxed wrote:Fabianski is done

Re: West Ham United v Arsenal Match Thread
I don't think we need to panic and we won't be going down. Twice we were growing into the game and they sucker punched us to make it 1 and 2 nil. Granted we fell apart at the end and the defending at the start was terrible but the defence is on life support at the moment. Fletcher has a great touch ...

I agree with you coyote the defence has to hang their head in shame after today. Arthur didn't do bad but it's getting embarrassing defending Collins. Something needs to change there because 2 0 at home to Watford should be game over. Still in shock tbh.

Micah Richards would be a great signing, can play anywhere across the defence I really hope that comes off. At this stage I don't see it getting any better than that and he could turn out to be a real gem Imo.

Fair point, he's greedy but looks very good on the ball. Crying shame he was our best option up front in our last qualifying game for Europe though. To be honest it's an absolute disgrace that a punt on a kid like that is our best bet right now.mattyD wrote:If Fletcher had started both games we'd be through.

Re: West Ham United v AFC Bournemouth: Match thread
It was a very poor game but we controlled it, the midfield 3 all had good games which made it hard for them to do anything. Tore looks like a tidy player who will get better as he learns the English game. Valencia is just not good enough it's painful to watch him attempt to control a pass, cleito an...

Re: Andy Carroll
The funny thing is, is that with his brief cameo against Bournemouth, he's made more appearances than Sakho and Valencia this season. Interesting point if true. We really do need a consistent striker, as in somebody who can play around 3/4 of the season and isn't Jelavic or Carlton Cole. When was t...

Pretty unlucky the way we went 1-0 down but in truth it could be 3 or 4 by now. We don't look like scoring at all, our best chance was when we were offside. Slav needs to change something or this could get embarrasing.

Re: Watford v West Ham United: Match Thread
Just back and I can't believe how poor we were. We offered barely anything in 90 minutes of football. Watford were so up for it which didn't help but I apart from the gift to Valencia and the chance for Carroll with 20 mins to go we did nothing. Watford absolutely dominated us. Carroll was as useful...

First game of the season for me. Knowing my luck in games I attend, we are nailed on to lose this I'm afraid. Strange that anyone you talk to has us as favorites for this. Watford really fancy this after two wins and will attack us which you would think will play into our hands but they haven't conc...

Unbelievable defence in the second half, Reid was a mountain in front of everything. Adrian pulled off some great saves and they all put everything into that match. To think this is a squad still getting to know each other, imagine how good we could be.

I see some would drop Kouyate and Tomkins. Kouyate rumours of being unsettled, well dropping him after doing well will cheer him up no end. If I was them and had just won 3-0 at Anfield for the first time in 52 years and was dropped, I would be mightily pissed. They both played well, what kind of m...

Fair play to them I thought Song and Jelavic would be our lot at best. They have given Slav a squad capable of challenging the top 6 now, exciting times.

Antonio's goals at Forest last year. Number 5 at exactly 1 minute is top notch... Get it done Daves!
Edit: It seems from the video that he can play left or right as well...

Re: Summer 2015 transfer thread
Seems I was wrong about Jinxed, sorry old chap I just found the Maiga stuff a bit fishy. Moses would be brilliant, really hope we pull that off. Although I rate Lennon, trying to do any business with Spurs at this point seems too risky. I'd be happy if we just went all out for Jelavic and Moses as o...

Re: Summer 2015 transfer thread
The board have acted disgracefully this summer. Talk of 30 million pound players and a big transfer kitty becomes an 18 million spend and scrambling around for loans at the end. There are some decent cheap options out there but the season ticket payers have been fed a load of b*llocks this year. The...

Re: Summer 2015 transfer thread
I've never been his biggest fan but andros townsend hasn't made the bench once for spurs this year.wouldn't be a bad loan to give us some width.we desperately need that width or we could be in trouble this year. aaron lennon another one with no future there could be a good stop gap.
