Re: Wigan Athletic v West Ham Utd: FA Cup 4th rnd match thread

Christ I must be getting old,as I'd expect that from someone who been following West Ham United for about 3years.[ actually that's not true, my 11year old wouldn't dream of saying it]. The "ethos we support" (whatever that means) is about thousands travelling to the northern wastelands to...

Re: Wigan Athletic v West Ham Utd: FA Cup 4th rnd match thread

I fear we may now be that run-of-the-mill team in the Premier League, having bobbed around for near enough it's entirety. But that's fine. I've supported West Ham for around 30 years and I was never promised League titles, just drama and 'proper football'. We build our hopes on a burst of brilliance...

Re: Wolves vs West Ham Utd: match thread

ohhhhhhhhh yes! Good first game, looks like Zola and Clarke got them peaking at the right time, looking forward to seeing the team even tighter next week. Good to see the boys got a bit of time at the end to knock the ball around a bit, all helps in the long run!

Re: Wolves vs West Ham Utd: match thread

We're on 5 live I think, so we shouldn't be last game on MOTD, unless it really does turn out to be a bore draw.

One more sleep.... yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: wednsday's gossip includes west ham

Look I know its the school holidays and all that, but try and give credit to someone who's got a bit of persepctive and experience in these matters. We've got bugger all on the books at the moment but the idea that everything is going to be alright when we sign a couple of old stagers is just plain...

Yea I just read that back, I walked past a beer garden yesterday and thought I heard sky sports news announcing we'd signed Toni, this striker fiasco is having serious effects on my mental health.

Re: wednsday's gossip includes west ham

I've spent the years watching too many strikers turn up at this club when they're one step away from the knackers yard, from Radford through to Tristan. To be frank, if these two are still as good as people are saying why are they coming here? Why not to one of the hundreds of clubs in the Champion...

Re: West Ham Utd v Napoli: match thread

Noble was far better than Collison today, and you'd still replace him with flavour of the month Collison?[/quote] Yep, I think Collison has far more to his game than Noble, although he may not of shown that on today's friendly game alone, I think that over the course of the season he will look the ...

Re: West Ham Utd v Napoli: match thread

I think we'll peak at just the right time against Wolves, the wheels are certainly turning and the team are starting to click together. Faubert looked good, he certainly seems more settled then he had previously, more aware of his role and where his team mates are on the park, which is the complete ...
