Re: Are our players as good as we think they are?

Being 'good' also takes into account of consistency and reliability. We have seen plenty of players who put out decent performances, but to maintain that form over a sustained period elevates that player into being considered as 'good', To help enable that consistency we need good coaching and manag...

Shock result coming soon for us, it should be Moyes 1 big win like Chelsea last time

So will it be City or Liverpool ?

Or it it just winning a home game v a team in the top 12
Just winning a game will do.

Re: Why modern football is broken beyond repair

The Premier League is built for pace and endurance. Technical players are forsaken for hardworking ones.

Re: The Relegation Rebuild & Casualties

if the majority of our players are likely to have their salary cut in half if we drop, then is there such a massive need to have a clear out? surely we could sell a few and keep most of them, which should be enough to be competitve in the Championship I'd rather trade most of them if it was up to m...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

If our fans ever had something to get excited about and actually jumped around a bit, that would definitely fall down... Ah I can now see the logic in exiting the cups, bring back Moyes, our shambles of a team and attracting quiet, well-behaved tourists now. The popcorn is probably also aimed at he...

Re: Ex players views on the current situation

Expect more board manipulation as we get nearer to the 29th. I'm pretty sure you wont get Alvin TC Bonzo or PDC playing the board puppet theme. They are proper West Ham. Next time their is an event an evening with Lomas/Gale/ Konchesky I suggest boycott as obviously its all about the $. Isn't Cotte...

Re: The Crazy Life of Ian Bishop

Long hair yet no hairband...such a rarity in football. I do remember there were times he was just invisible in games. No running, no pressuring, passes were not incisive. But then there were games where he would look like Pirlo, conducting things from the centre circle, spraying long passes effortle...

Re: Trial seperation

I gotta come clean. I went to watch Luton v Cardiff at the weekend. It was just a one-off guys, I promise. Sure, she weren't the best looking, some may even say a bit rough. But I have to admit, it felt kinda nice. No regrets.

Re: Sunday Supplement

Did IB mean that the past would be forgotten if not forgiven if we achieved some success? I do think that some fans, particularly modern fans are probably only interested in eleven men wearing claret and blue kicking a ball about. Were I not a visitor of Kumb I doubt I'd be that educated about the p...

Re: I challenge you to lose to my GSB XI.

Sanchez, Roberto, Arbeloa, Evra, Wilshere....the £ paid for pure crapness is probably the worst in the country. Carroll's roughly £1.5m per goal is an argument for inclusion.

Re: Summer transfer window

Haksabanovic can probably go. He is probably on heft wages for his capability. I was a fan of Masuaku but I feel he needs to play in tandem with someone on the wing to be of use. As a wing back he is probably more exposed. I might be wrong as I haven't watched that many games properly this season. H...

How many motivators do we need or have had? Does it make a blind bit of difference? Ginge, Zaba, Pearce...we were still unbelievably crap at times.

Good appointment knows the club just hope that he wasn't to influenced by Alardyce and his tactics :)
I have no idea how his Notts County or Orient played but seeing as he only ever played under Sam you'd wonder how much he is aware of management outside of Sam's world.

Re: Midweek FA Cup Fixtures 4/5-2-20

Class, brilliant technique. Will be amazing in championship but needs to bulk up a bit for premier league Not a dig at the post, but I don't get the prevalent view that players need to bulk up for the Prem. Bowen is the same weight though a couple of centimetres shorter. David Silva is small. David...
