Re: West Ham Utd v Bournemouth - Match Thread
Pretty sure it corrects itself when you scan it at the turnstile yeah... I've got 3 STs on my phone and none of them seem to update. right now 1 shows Bournemouth and the other 2 Arsenal. Never have trouble getting through turnstile. I think the NFC is tied to the seat so doesn't matter what fixtur...

Re: A new regular Formation?/The formation and tactics thread
It's a bit leftfield and I'm not sure Michail would like it but I would like to see him and Cornet in the WB roles to ensure we have that attacking threat when playing with 5 at the back. We would probably need to bring in Fornals to play on the right to cover Antonio when he's pushed on but I think...

Re: Teams are going straight through us!
I would have dropped Soucek and let Coufal and Cornet make up the 5 in midfield. Brighton played 3 at the back most of the game and totally overran our midfield. I think we need to move to a 3 with two wbs. I would like to see us go with Scamaca / Bowen / Antonio up top - Rice / Fornals in CM and th...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.
I actually think Sonny Perkins might be on his way to spurs..... My son has trained with SP once as they share the same coach. He's a big spurs fan (the coach Harry Brooks) and his comment 'had to go' on the twitter feed tells me that's where he's headed..... https://twitter.com/HB_HeadCoach/status/...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.
Now things are getting even more Monty Python can’t wait for our version of the dead parrot sketch.🦜 Apart from the roads... and the sewage.... f all!!!! seriously though and Sonny Perkins is another example of where there's a breakdown between the players and the board view on compensation.... How...

Everton have already fckued us up with the Richarlison deal. If he'd gone to Chelsea we would probably have Broja already.....

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.
Re Lingard.. Surely this Rob Newman bloke should start earning his money and get these type of deals finalised. We've been linked with JL for too long. It's obviously a cash issue and it doesn't look like we are doing anything about it. Can't they structure it to hit his target of 150k based on ince...

Re: ⚽ Olympique Lyonnais v West Ham Utd: match thread
COYI!!!! Can't wait for tonight and swinging between wildly optimistic and total pessimism today. I do think we can get a result though if we keep our heads.... I watched the City game last night and absolutely loved seeing them serving dark arts up to Atletico Madrid. The last 30 minutes of the gam...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Talksport are speculating about Kieffer Moore... I think he's looked alright for Wales and is a real handful. He's not gonna improve the side but has the work rate and would probably be cheap cover and not a bad one to throw on for the last 20 minutes of a game when defences are tired.... I did say...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Oh god.. I hope not, having watched him at Yeovil Town, I still can't believe he has made it to the Championship, and plays International football, albeit for Wales.. I'd never live it down around here, if that donkey signed for West Ham.. It would still be a big upgrade on Yarmo though :crylol:

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Norwich City: rescheduled match thread
Good result without being a classic. I liked the formation we started with though. Rice played a more disciplined CDM and having Lanzini alongside him gave us a lot more attacking threat. I don't think we could get away with that against the better teams though. It was nice of the Norwich midfield t...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
I will probably get shot down for this but our play reminds me a bit of Chelsea under Mourinho first time round. Solid midfield base of Essien / Makelele and then a dynamic front four that would pop up all over the place. He always had Drogba (or Gudjohnson) in that Antonio role though to create the...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
He’s not a magician though. The likes of Haller and Anderson didn’t work for him. I just think Traore is too much of a one trick pony. Haller and Anderson were not Moyes men though. Also unproven in the premiership. At least we know what Traore's capable of in this league and if Moyes can get him b...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
I reckon Traore would be a good signing. We know Moyes can get the best out of players and his best is pretty decent. We just need him to do the tank role and charge the CBs to tie them up or hit the channels to pull them out of shape so our fab three (whichever ones are playing) can exploit the spa...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Norwich City: rescheduled match thread
I'd like to see something like that. I don't think Moyes will go for it, he's far too cautious, but something along the lines of: ------------------------ Fabiankski ---------------------- Fredericks ------ Dawson ----- Diop ------ Johnson --------------------------- Rice --------------------------...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Clubs should play their u23's in place of the covid ridden players most clubs have large squads there is no excuse for postponing games. I don't think we'll hear the end of this come the end of the season I can see potential problems come the end of the season if teams get relegated at Newcastle's ...
