Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
Why, this is a big incident? Can we have another thread to talk about it on or is KUMB going to brush it under the carpet and pretend it didn't happen?bristolhammerfc wrote:Just discuss the match on here please. Any off topic posts will be removed

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
Why didn't they give the tickets to the local schools? Surely a much better route to take if they're trying to drum up support in the 'local' community. I say local because let's face it, not many of our supporters live within a close proximity of the ground anymore. Must say, I was none the wiser ...

It showed that there was 2000 neutrals tbh, very flat atmosphere compared to usual.

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
Best way to describe this is rent-a-crowds.
Drafting in anyone they can to cover empty seats up.
This will easily be the norm at the OS, neutral crowds as predicted, happening already.

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
The community tickets are there to bring local people to games and they are not available every game, they are also not available to everyone either, that doesn't mean they are available to Muslim's only, only a ****ing imbecile would make such a remark. Those tickets were made available to Local s...

Oh and everyone who pays top dollar to watch West Ham week in week out, you're just getting completely ****ing mugged by these owners.. Completely mugged. £5 for an adult ticket certain people were paying today, £5. Mugged.. :thdn: As with every issue we have no representation on the board. No way ...

Sweet Del, so practice what that shirt preaches and support the team.
Don't cheer opposition goals, don't go down early and pray in a totally unsuitable place.

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
Tension is running high, Islam and integration is a sore subject. If you live / operate in Newham, West Ham is an escape from the area which has changed so drastically outside. I'm sure you can go without a pray for a couple of hours, if you can't then your religion is more a cult than a faith. Why...

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
Anyone who wondered about supporting West Ham is all about should have been in the supporters club after the game, proper party going on despite 1-3 defeat and a young girl on the stage leading the singing of bubbles. Should have been in the TBL at half time, praying to Mecca now that's proper West ...

Fact is this forum again shows how out of touch it is with the West Ham matchday going crowd.
Most in the TBL were seething.

Absolute toilet.

Simple fact is it shouldn't be happening.
I don't go to see that sort of thing, to get away from it if anything.
As I said, count themselves lucky that weren't the old North Bank.

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
I would have a problem with any religious practices going on in full view at half time in a packed concourse so don't try and make out this is anti islam.
I pay plenty of money and don't fancy seeing that, as with the majority of the regulars there today.

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
Totally agree with you MikeNewell'sOld Boys. Irrespective of who they were or why they got tickets, anybody should feel safe in our stadium. I was not there, but it sounds as if they were not hurting anyone, praying or not. It is not acceptable to attack people. A shameful episode, if it happened a...

Whoever they were sold to they weren't selling.
Man City sold out the full 3000 last year, obviously weren't having it this year with a price rise.

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester City: match thread
People don't sit in the TBL to watch religious prayers at half time.
It's not what it's about down there, and doesn't need to be seen.
