It does appear he's already served that ban

Surely that ban would have been served in the first Conference League games last season?

I look forward to seeing what Heitinga can bring.

Still remember him rejecting a move to us

Re: The new kits thread

They had a massive backlash from the fan base for removing the laurel wreaths on a new badge design in 2013 without consulting the fans (same level of outrage as us removing the castle)... 10 years on... they do this... good to know it isn't just us! Crest was the same as on their 3rd kit last seas...

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread

The signing excites me. I do however feel he would/could be another Haller/Scammacca. Antonio's comments around the Moyes way of life, 'feeding off scraps etc' are true. I'm not complaining if/when it gets results, however I feel like we would be better suited to a player of a Lukaku-style mould. In...

Kurt has captained the first 2 games, no reason why that should change.

"Just bet on a card, for Lucas Paqueta"

On a serious note, I hope this is not truth in the allegations. Issue is, if the evidence that has been quoted is correct, it seems pretty damning.

Re: The new kits thread

Away kit is a 9/10 without the sponsor. But it has a sponsor :crylol: we can't make a kit what it isn't, to make it better (I get we sell an unsponsered one, but that's not the marketed version). If you could actually see the club crest, e.g. what we are all about, then it would be closer to a 9/10...

On reflection, these are 3 of the worst kits we've had by Umbro, this season

Re: Jesse Lingard

Imagine the ridicule he'll get if his first couple of games for us are as bad as the last couple he played. 9 goals 5 assist to have the focus put on his last few, poorer games? :chin: In an interview on the Bartlett's podcast, he said he wanted to stay after his loan, but United didn't want to sel...

Re: Jesse Lingard

Moyes's relationship with Lingard is similar to the one I'd have with Kylie Minogue. She could treat me like absolute dirt, but I'd keep going back for more. Fair play to Moyes if he thinks it could still work out for us, it would be far easier, and probably less reputational damage to sack him off...

Zouma lead the side Saturday... is that decision made? Find it weird we haven't named a new captain. Feels like it all hinged on Maguire, which is just... odd.

We need a forward. Not many available that won't repeat our history of poor decisions. No idea where we go from here.

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread

Ok you’ve got your opinion of him, I’ve got mine. Jarrod Bowen and Benrahma play as wingers for west ham because they work hard both ways. You may see Martial going forward but you sure won’t see him following his man to the left back position because he’s a lazy twat. Yes, but I think if we signed...

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread

At £250k per week in wages (reportedly), I would expect a lot more than 21 appearances and 8 G+A from a forward. Yes, I agree. On the flip side, not every player is going to be a 20+ goal a season forward. That just isn't possible. Maguire, £80m transfer fee barely played last season. I'm sure he's...

He doesn't run for United? 21 matches last season (mostly from bench), 6 goals and 2 assists? Yes, he must stand still.
