Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Crystal Palace: Match Thread

When will people understand, it’s not the referees fault, it’s not VAR’s fault, it’s not Zaha’s fault. It’s ours. Plain and simple. We didn’t want it from the off and it showed, another case of what could’ve been a significant jump in the league ends in disappointment

/\

The leg he’s about to kick the ball with is the one that gets fouled, so I’d say he was impeded imo. If it had been Cahill on Haller today we’d be screaming for it

Errr?
Well, he could’ve been talking about the people up in the VAR room, the player himself etc. Forgive me for not being familiar with the term ‘mickeys’

Re: this weekends fixtures

Mickeys cheating again. Shocking penalty decision. The laws haven't changed. A foul still needs to be committed for a penalty to be given. It wasn't. If by Mickeys you mean Liverpool, I’m not so sure they cheated. There was definite contact which is clear to see on the replays, therefore it was a f...

Moan all you like, stonewall pen, definite contact. If it was us we’d be bitching about it if it wasn’t awarded

Re: ⚽ Aston Villa v West Ham United: Match Thread

Grateful for the point eventually

However, having one shot on target all game is extremely poor and there’s no excuse for that considering the forwards we have regardless of the opposition. We didn’t create any proper shooting opportunities with 11, let alone 10

Got to be beating dross like that if we want to progress on last season's finish.
Completely agree. We should be beating teams like Villa before worrying about hanging on with ten men. We battled well in the end, but should be holding onto a lead rather than holding out for a draw
