I missed it, what were the Fulham fans doing?

Dearly hope young George is ok.

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

They were excellent out of possession, didn't give us a moment on the ball, snapping at our heels, getting back in numbers in an instant. We can't cope with teams like that, never have. Hate to say it but their ultra competitiveness reminds of Arsenal at the moment... It was only exceptional play by...

Watching Alonso's Leverkusen was like watching Arteta's Arsenal.

F**king hateful but very good, with an annoying git on the touchline!

But that's him, he's inconsistent, either a waste of space or sublime.

That's why I'm not worried about him going to a bigger club, I think he's at his maximum club level at West Ham.

There's only so much a squad of 13 can do!

So bloody frustrating.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

We used be be excellent at defending deeply, circa 2020-21.
With Dawson and prime Ogbonna in there, nothing got past us, we just haven't got the personnel now.

Mavropanos is probably the best CB at the club, that says it all.

Didn't realise that TOMOS, thanks.
But it doesn't really matter, he's not at our disposal, we could do with him at the moment.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Losing Kehrer without replacing him was the bigger mistake than losing Fornals and Benrhama. He would have been very useful right now. A bit flaky at CB but no more than the rest of our CBs at the moment. He was decent at RB, a good passer of the ball, he could possibly have done a job as a screenin...

Send him back. Waste of a squad space and £100+k a week.
Seems a very long time ago that people were upset that there was no purchase clause on his loan..

The boy just isn’t at the races.

Negligence, bordering on criminal from the board!

Re: West Ham United v Aston Villa: match thread (17.03.24)

VAR is clear and obvious bullsh*t..

Do we seriously think the ref would have been sent to look at the screen, if that was a possible Liverpool winner in the 90th minute at Anfield vs someone like Luton ….or anyone! I don’t think so.

What happened to decisions being overturned only for a clear and obvious error by the ref! What a joke!

Might as well give 6th place to MU now and be done with it.

Re: West Ham Utd V Burnley: match thread - 10.03.24

I've said this for years mate. The incident yesterday in The England/Ireland game was the perfect example when one of our tries was ruled out for a knock on: The ref listens and discusses the whole thing with both his line judges and TMO. He obviously makes the final decision, but the important thi...

Great post on the subject. I don't watch much RU but did see bits of the Eng/Ire game and its refreshing to see the difference in attitude. No doubt there'll be shits and giggles by the experts on MOTD(which I never watch because of it By The Way). Absolutely! It’ll be the usual brushed under the c...

Re: West Ham Utd V Burnley: match thread - 10.03.24

Watching the Six Nations, you trust every decision that’s made by the officials, there appears to be complete honesty behind every call. The officiating in top flight football, on the other hand, seems to have no such integrity! There’s too much money and powerful vested interests involved. This lac...

Super Tommy’s strike, highlight of the season so far!

That run and finish from Alvarez …the cherry on the cake for a hard earned effort today.
Couldn’t be more pleased for the three goal scorers.

Everton did their best frustrate and nullify us and still lost 1-3, lovely.

Bowen deliberately blocked off when a one two was on with Kudus, breaking on the right side half way line, no booking!

Was there any VAR review of Kudus penalty shout for hand ball?
