The harsh reality is Marco Silva has spent heavily compared to Pellegrini,
Is that true ?

I heard a net spend figure for Everton of £97m during his time there.

Re: The Moaning About Christmas Thread.

Another Christmas day on my own, I'll push the boat out and have an extra topping on my pizza, but no decorations, tree or presents either given or received. I'm sure it is a wonderful time for families, especially for those with young children, and I hope everybody in those circumstances enjoys it,...

amazon is taking over the world , as much as people dont like its methods, there is clearly a huge demand for its services .
Personally I'd like to see them go bust.

Re: Amazon

The price of football. I think it's worth a discussion: cheap it ain't, and the proliferation of what I believe are referred to as "content" providers is only driving the costs higher. Sky sports, BT Sport set me back around £60 a month.Undoubtedly Amazon will settle in around a similar number for c...

Re: Amazon

My TV is so complicated I'm scared to change channels so don't know if I have this amazon thing. There's a button on the control for netflix , whatever that is and google play.

I can get both BBC channels plus ITV.

Last time we played them it was a midweek game, snowing, bloody freezing in an open stand and the Chicken Balti pies were huge.

Can't wait.

Re: F A Cup 3rd Round draw

Anywhere away except Wales, but preferebly against a team we hardly ever play these days.

Somewhere obscure that would need the money 6,000 of our lot turning up would bring.

Re: ⚽ Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United: Match Thread

Tough game this one. Wolves have shown great grit and determination under their boss and are quite hard to beat. I'd go with the same starting line up as Saturday ......send the message that a winning team with a clean sheet starts the next game. If Haller and Yarmo want starting berths they need to...

I can't see too much sensible debate on this one so I'm going to lock it for now.

No idea what Roy Keane thought of his performance, but I thought Rice was double mustard today, absolutely top drawer.

My MotM by a mile, comfortably the best player on either side.

Played his part today, happy with his contribution.

I think hes bulked up a touch , looking much more developed in the upper body.

Re: David Martin

What a marvellous story, son of a club legend, released by Millwall, our arch rivals, and signed, if rumours are correct as a training ground keeper. And he plays brilliantly on debut. I thought he was superb today, handled crosses well, was decisive, great distribution from the deck, hands and thro...

Re: New Premier League chief resigns...

On a serious note, assuming the text messages are genuine, his behaviour was terrible, and quite possibly intimidating to a young woman. He was in a more senior position to her, and therefore held a degree of power and control over her. The PL are bang on to avoid him. I can't imagine there's a blok...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

The stadium moved has killed us. Stone dead. It's not results, many of us have stood and cheered us all the way to division 2 several times before, and not raised a single question of the Board. This particular Board of Directors have exhausted all goodwill by their appalling behaviour over the term...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Isn't this a huge problem at the club, we simply don't have an adequate corporate structure running the company. We have Baroness Part Time, 83 year old Gold rambling more than the roses in his garden and 70 year old Sullivan who spends most of his time in his Theydon Bois bubble Running a top leve...
