Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
So much of our transfer business hinges on whether David Moyes chooses to leave the club. Assuming he does, the club will, undoubtedly, go full Steidten ahead, with a significant shift in the age profile of players and a lesser reliance on those who have previously featured in the PL. I would expect...

Alvarez would be a poor choice of Captain.
15 yellows in all competitions this season ?
Soucek probably ths pick of the current options, but he may not be a first choice pick next season.

Re: Israel
Apparently Israel has responded with a missile retaliation. No news on the wheres, whats, how much etc. Possibly a nuclear facility. Nah, they bottled it. Limited strike, more to make the point they could rather do real damage. A huge mistake by Israel. Iran will be a fully fledged nuclear state wi...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)
We had 5 academy players on the bench, an absurd situation when its by accident not design. The players who did start did themselves, the club and supporters proud. They rattled a crack German team, full of confidence, and supremely well drilled. Im gutted they got the equaliser tonight as our first...

Rice would be in the starting XI for any football club in the world.
He was exceptionally good for us, but he has moved on, and so should we.

She has said she will resign if she has done something criminal. One of them is alleged to have misspent his parties money, the other to have lied on official documents to evade tax. If they are both guilty which one is which in your comparison? In the case of Rayner we appear to be setting a low t...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I suspect we will part company. Surprising how many Everton fans are calling for his return on their main channels. Although Bill K has passed away it would not surprise me if that became an option, if they are still a properly functioning football club. I'm sure that's where he is off to, an offer...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Generally, coaches have input. For some, that’s being a full part of the discussions. For others, it’s a bit, “I need a player here, I need one here, I need pace in attack,” so that their insight into the squad is given, but they leave it to someone to fulfil the brief. I’m a fan of recruitment bei...

They did ....and now they've done it again . You're the one that's suppose to be giving us the news from the US . :winker: Its no different to what GCHQ do to citizens of this country. Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
In January John, Sullivan overruled Steidten & Moyes in the purchasing of a player......both wanted him. Just a player. If he gives up the final say on any new coach/manager, I will eat every Royal Ascot hat in history. :winker: And the player was in the 20 to 23 age group...... Happy to match ...

is that 160M earning interest, in that the amount will be increasing daily ? or is it just a flat amount no matter what, do you know Pinky ? There will be an additional financial penalty for the delay, that much is certain. Everton are a basket case. In simple terms: All of the money at risk is rea...

So, the £160m due to be repaid to MSP by 5am tomorrow has been extended to allow 777 time to raise the money.
This is all going to end in tears.

Re: Israel
Were I considering a response to Iran, I would launch the following Gchine and Saghand uranium mines a very small nuclear device, sufficent to irradiate the area for a hundred years or so, while killing relatively few. I'd give 24 hours notice on intent. Tehran, Arak and Ispahan test reactors a conv...

Against a country the size of Iran, with a huge army, it's the only way to get the point across sufficiently robustly without risking too many lives.Plashet Grove Pete wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 10:32 am This is surely the most idiotic post to date. The squad: I reckon there’s more to it than simply put and black and white questions. But… Defenders and their issues: Some of which is out of his control. Some of which lead to questions about coaching. Although he did take the risk on Zouma, but I’d say that was by far worth it, so balanced out. ...
