I don't think we should do a full 180 on the recruitment policy. I'm happy we've brought in a number of big ticket attacking players who, on their day, can cause anyone trouble.

Our issues come from a systemic underinvestment in support of them.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I hate to be 'that guy', but i'd seriously give him one more game. Two at an absolute push. If we are convincingly beaten then he's got to go. I honestly thought he would be the guy to take us forwards, but it's just not working out. Rigid tactics, strange team selections and substitutions. It's doi...

Re: ⚽ Burnley FC v West Ham United: Match thread (09/11)

Another loss, and Pellers under huge pressure. Lose the game after that and the trigger fingers might get super itchy. He must play at least Fredericks at RB, but preferably Arthur at LB as well. We need the extra impetus going forwards. If he changes the team, we have a chance. if he plays the same...

Re: Little things in life that make you smile

Bear with me... My youngest has been suffering awfully with a very severe form of Colitis, to the point at which he's barely been able to leave the house. He's 22 now, the last five years should have been the best of his life and they've been crap. Quite literally. But, after a variety of medicatio...

Hallowe'en.

There's actual adults working in actual adult jobs in full fancy dress all over the city.
I am one of those. However it’s for a works awards do and dressing up is compulsory. Enforced ‘fun’ :hush:

I went to the Rams game at Wembley on Sunday :scarfer:

Not a great game but we got the win. 5-3 now. Need to keep it going and put some pressure on the 49ers.

1 account for regular bills, standing orders etc. 1 for day to day spending. Salary into first account, weekly or monthly allowance as a standing order into account two. Cash is dead. Nah. Not for me. When i go out i take x amount of cash with me. i know where i am then. A couple of times I've been...

Re: Little things that irritate you

The rise in cashless shops. Seems to be prevalent mostly in coffee shops at the moment, although its also in my work canteen. I find it highly annoying having to pay 3-4 quid on my card. Even worse if i fancy a can of pop late in the afternoon and i have to pay 85p on my card. I get that it's easier...

After going 3-0 we are now 3-3. Wtf Rams?

49er's - whats happened here? 5-0!

Oh, and cut the lead by two in the Pick'em pool. I'm coming for you!

cheers CH rice to united is gathering pace. 100m at least but if we do sell our number one asset what is the point of it all. we are building a decent looking first 11 and squad albeit we need 3-4 more decent players for the squad but we must keep our good players to keep moving forward. hopefully ...

Feel for you, mate. Constant pain apart from anything else, can be very depressing. It's just not fair, that card you've been dealt & it's not right that docs appear so sh*t at helping you. I'm not saying this will help but there are many conditions that people have & feel the same way as you. I'm ...
