Re: Tommy Robinson jailed
Is Stephen out?
Regardless, when he does get out he'll end up back in soon enough because he is thick as ****. He has a more slappable face than Bruno Fernandes and Bukayo Saka combined.

8.6k this morning, all with yet another cold, albeit mild. Trying to blow your nose whilst running is tougher than it sounds.

Re: Disconnect with the Players
I'm going to stick up for the players here. I've been fortunate enough to meet numerous players, current, and former, over the years. They have, without exception, been superb with supporters. Many of them do untold charity work, sign birthday greetings, stop to have a quick chat. Yes, the farewell...

I'd be very surprised if he doesn't get on at Ipswich, or even starts.
An excellent keeper for us and I'm sorry to see him go

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá
I think that at his best he's a better All-Round player than our Jarrod - at his best with us he worked extremely hard tracking back , tackling , breaking up play - even when asked to play that lone Striker role recently he put in a solid performance winning the ball more often than not ...and then...

Yes, Bunk, one half of Origin Unknown.
Check out Ant's Deep Seven tunes. Some good stuff there. I didn't even know these existed until they started getting repressed a few years back.

I think he loves football, but doesn't love all the work that comes with needing to be a professional 24/7.westham,eggyandchips wrote: ↑Wed May 21, 2025 1:48 pm I just don't think he cared that much for football.
Seems like he's happier playing 5 a side with his mates.
Edit - I reckon he'd tear it up in the Baller league.

Agree. He is also less injury prone, and doesn't dive about feigning injury.
Saka is talented, but he couldn't score that goal Bowen did at the weekend in a million years.

Re: Summer 2025 Transfers
I might be in the minority but I’d love Grealish here.
Can’t get a game at City. Wasting his talent there. He’s 29 so not too old. Problem would obviously be transfer fee and wages which makes it very unlikely but he’d love it at West Ham.

Re: ✍️ Welcome to West Ham Utd Graham Potter
Been thinking on this for a while. This whole 'but it's not my squad' argument. These guys are professional footballers playing in the top division of England. Get paid an absolute fortune a week. Surely there is an element of coaching/tactics to whip whatever you have into shape? Players should be ...

Re: Giving up sugar
I’ve been paying close attention to this thread and some of you have done amazingly well. My story is rather grim. I was diagnosed Type 2 around 8 years ago and began to do my best. I went from 21 stone to around 14, which I still am now. But sugar is killing me, quite literally I fear. My mental h...

Re: Early 90's Yoof Culture
Absolute love it when coming across tunes like this. That perfect blend of a catchy piano, a cheery vocal hook, a sort of Basement Records beat behind it all, magnificent. https://youtu.be/G7XQ4O9X6eM Basement records is the parent label to Homegrown. Weirdly I don't own any of these, and this is i...

Certainly is underrated Cocneyboy, but he didn't write Outdoor Type. That was Tom Morgan from the band Smudge - here's the original. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiZ7-VEu5hw You know what, I was going to double check this before posting, because he does love a cover (Mrs Robinson obvs being one)...
