Re: ⚽ Leicester City v West Ham Utd: match thread (27/10)

I would definitely have taken a point before kick off with Arnie also out, let alone after Noble being sent off. Very good result at a team doing well at home.

Re: ⚽ Leicester City v West Ham Utd: match thread (27/10)

Yeah, where is Perez?

Take that many attacking first teamers away from any side and they'll struggle. If we get anything at all from this I think it'll be a massive rear-guard action and a headed corner from a CB.

Re: ⚽ Leicester City v West Ham Utd: match thread (27/10)

I'm not feeling optimistic about this one. 2-0, and I think we'll come away debating how we're going to improve our attack prior to Jan. Aside from the injuries, it's concerning that Arnie is playing with a knee injury. Even if it isn't causing further harm, it surely must be restricting him to some...

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......

Everton have bought a few players in his position since his injury though, haven't they? I can understand Everton wanting to move him on, but I'm baffled that a £25m player, who not so long ago was highly rated, didn't get better offers from the prem or abroad. Seems a massive drop to me. Sign of t...

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......

Injury or not, how come the recently £25m Yannick Bolasie is now playing on loan in the championship?

Maybe the tags could be made of asbestos. I can see several benefits.

Re: Little things that irritate you

Fireworks aren't the problem though, it's the ***** they sell them to. Nothing wrong with a well-organised, professional display. Agree -- that's why I think they should require a licence. The big problem I have is them being on sale, heavily promoted, relatively cheaply, to just anyone. If the sup...

Bloody hell. Do you swear much? maybe it's a reaction to that.

I'm with you. I'd make them only available to properly licensed public events.

Well, nearly a season done, and pretty good. At least they haven't introduced a romance option.

Re: The one you couldn't love - but should've

I couldn't get into the first Witcher. Didn't like the protagonist or the writing for some reason. I don't enjoy any with Anime or Manga art style, even though I've tried a few.

Well, I've had a few hours with it, and I like it. It feels more addictive than it has done for a while.

Yeah, I've caved in, too. That 10% off and the need of a general pick-me-up did it.

The other side of the coin is being on a large conference call when your name comes up and the others don't realise you're on the call. I've had a lot of fun with that one.

Re: Andy Carroll

The frustrating thing is that we'll never know how good Carroll could have been. We've seen, on very rare occasions, Carroll perform effectively despite not having played or trained for months. He has almost unparalleled aerial ability, more skill than is often credited, and he can be very useful de...
