Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

So having had 18 months for the stewarding issues to be resolved, the stadium operators have now pulled the contract from OCS and awarded four sector tenders to different security companies. I noticed that the stewards on the South East corner were "busy" on Saturday, but in the main, comm...

Re: [POLL] The Champions statue

I suppose there is one thing that we should consider. It belongs to the Borough of Newham doesn't it? Or did the club pay for it (I can't bloody believe that!)??

Re: [POLL] The Champions statue

100% leave it there. It should become a place of pilgrimage for the faithful. Wreaths left there on Bobby's birthday or 24th Feb. A complete reminder of the great football club that was previously up the road. Let it be a small source of comfort for the small band of remaining Hammers supporting inh...

Re: Wigan Athletic v West Ham Utd: FA Cup 4th rnd match thread

Isn't the real issue that we could actually do without playing at all this week, because we barely have enough fit players to field a team? Unless I'm missing something totally we have a very long list of injuries? I expect to see all the fit players start complimented by whichever u-23's we have to...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

The yellow was ****ing awesome. Hazard, one of the best players in the league, comes on at 2-0 and within 30 seconds the skipper puts him right back in his box. Have some of that ****. Hardly touched the ball after that. :D Earlier on he drops his shoulder on the half way line and glides past two o...

Re: West Ham Utd vs Chelsea: match thread

Cracking night. first time I've seen it get really animated. Just for once the day trippers in front of were old school west ham, had way too many beers and were extremely amusing throughout. The East Stand...did...Well done. I can honestly say the difference was the lack of little Johnny and Jenny ...

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

I've had a few weeks away and not bothered taking too much notice of what's going on, other than the cricket season. Have we actually signed Callieri??

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Bars in the concourse between 130-135 are appallingly slow. staff training on day 1...tut tut. at half time it took 25 minutes to get to the front of a queue only to find out there were no hot dogs left. some kind of message on the screens above would be useful. No shelving at all so nowhere to get ...

Has to go back up front on the right. But all I keep thinking is how rubbish must Byram be? clearly there is something not as good as we had hoped when he arrived a few months back.

I Hope Watford beat the Nigels. did anyone else notice at least 3 or 4 of their boys clapping in the 38th minute, and the manager....Nobes should have put the ball in row ff and let everyone join in.... Good win. Should have been 4-0 at half time. Carroll immense again. last 5 games he's been superb...

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

Release Tompkins? is this a life of Brian sketch? FFS. When he's played in his correct position he's had some great games this season. Only one of our centre halfs capable of bringing the ball forward. Reid, to be honest, has not had a good year. and I'm a big fan. Ogbonna has been an excellent sign...

Re: Cricket

Is that 100% agreed? Re August. I've seen the recent stuff, but I think Essex are more concerned about the Franchise thing, which I don't know when it would be scheduled as it's not even on the table currently. I reckon we'd play a few games at the OS and then move back to the ECG under the current ...

Re: Sitting next to/near someone that annoys you...

you need to come and sit with us...^ lol however, in all seriousness, that has to be a concern in terms of annoyance factor. I've had the same seat for about 8 years now having moved a few times and the people around us are top notch. when we move, there are 86 of us seated together in a big block. ...

Re: Cricket

Trap1 is pretty much spot on here. I have some interest being an Essex member for years. I bumped into Irani in our local the other week along with a few committee blokes, most of whom are Orient supporters having been at Leyton in the old days. Essex are very much reliant on T20 income to support t...

Re: Andy Carroll

I like the big fella. He is an absolute menace when fit. he can play with his feet as well as being an outstanding winner of the ball in the air. against the blue scouse he was very much like old "Duncan Disorderly" smashing defenders and the keeper about, creating space for others. Same a...

well done to the spurs lads who post on here for their comments. They aren't all idiots. One of my old army pals was on the phone 5 mins after the game and said we deserved it and well done.

Brilliant night. missed the bloody goal though..lol.

I have to say, if you were to believe the number of comments on my own facebook page, you'd think the filth were playing Great Britain. They really aren't liked at all are they. In fact, I have messages from Lazio and Feyenoord as well. None of them are particularly complimentary to the mugs from N1...
