Re: Manager 18 - David Moyes: yes or no? [POLL]

Here's a thought, what if they do hold the meeting and Moyes actually does decide in the end he don't fancy the grief, then what will the Club do? ****ing clowns have a game in a few days time with potentially bugger all to lay out the cones looking disinterested. I'd have respect for Moyes i...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Matic is probably a reasonable shout, as will be Wanyama. Wouldn't be surprised to see us try and grab one of the two Leicester 'reserves' from last night either. Bubbs,I don't want to see us sign any player on the basis that they look good playing against us :) I remember looking at YT clips of th...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Leicester City: Match thread (28/12)

My initial reaction to the penalty incident was that Ịheanachọ should have been penalised for a high boot. I'm convinced that,if it was a WHU forward against a top 6 goalie, that would have been the verdict. The only positive, for me was to see what it meant to Fornals to get his first goal for the cl...

Re: Who Next? The odds

Why would someone with a CV like Ancelotti's ever think of coming to work for the Toxic Trio in the middle of a relegation battle, when they can take their pick of jobs around Europe ? And supposing, for the sake of argument, that we had got Ancelotti - would he stick around if we got relegated, and ev...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Have GSB ever spunked any serious cash in January, even with the threat of relegation looming? The only way it will happen is if they first sell someone e.g Diop. I can see the headline now - "Sully: Jack begged the manager to keep him on, but David insisted that Diop didn't fit in with how he wante...

2 games in 3 days!
I expect our lot to be blowing out of their arrises after 20 minutes if we start with a pressing game.
Having said that,I expect us to sit off them as they camp outside our box for the entire first half.

West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini: "We need to recover in 48 hours and we must try to win our home games because in the last games we played there we have not collected the amount of points that we need." What utter drivel!!
What insight,eh? :)

Re: Who Next? The odds

I think Dyche would be a better fit for our current squad (than Howe) and also more likely to gain promotion if we're relegated. Howe's preferred MO is 2 big mobile strikers that can bomb down the middle or out wide - problem is that only Antonio plays that way.Dyche's Burnley is a largely pace-less...

That my 9-year old doesn’t know her times tables. That my 39-year old wife doesn’t know them either, which is presumably why she doesn’t appear to think it’s an issue. She got a B for high school maths - how on Earth was she able to do that? I was helping a friend of a friend's kid with her maths (...

Re: Pablo Fornals

I always find it a lot harder to spot one-footedness on a right footer, whereas it always seems obvious on a left footer. Not sure why. I think left-footers tend to run with the ball in a different way and to shield it in a different way because they are always naturally wanting to take the ball on...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

[quote="GaryP" ]Things like the England 'goal' should be like umpires call in cricket . I am not saying that because it was an England goal but his toe was literally offside. It was not a clear and obvious error. If the players body is visible from the linesman's position then call it offside. Needs...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

Also the idea that VAR will favour those outside of the big 6 is a pipe dream. It will still favour the media darlings, probably more so, and those 7 minutes will become 5 or 10 depending on who is winning. I agree. I remember after that Derby goal in the Cup (against Southampton?) was disallowed a...

Poor old McKnightmare was the worst, surely?
What other player ever had every fan crapping themselves any time the ball went near him?

LBM was headless chicken, more than dead snake but at least he put a shift in.

Ilan was far better than Zaza or Callieri or Mido or Boriello.

If there is a genuine offer out there (as opposed to click-bait journalism) and Arnie fancies it
then get rid, else face the possibility of further tantrums and disruptions.
