Re: Midweek Games April 9-11

What hope have the refs got when you have ex players like Ferdinand and Keown saying it was a pen.

Clearly it wasn’t but we've got a group of dishonest ex players saying it was, god knows what their motivation is. They obviously want a game with cheating in it.

Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread

Mateball wearing thin. :) Bloke's probably realised that if you ask your team to charge around at breakneck speed all the time they will breakdown, leaving you playing your inferior bench players and then losing. It’s not wearing thin for me. I thought both teams were good last night, poor at finis...

Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread

Not feeling massively confident, in theory at least Postecoglu football should give Moyes lots to work with.

Going to be loads of room for Bowen and Kudus with our full backs high, so it will likely come down to who wins the midfield.

Re: Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

Genuinely brilliant bit of refereeing there, plenty would have folded in the face of that whopper pretending to have a head injury.

Refs get a lot of stick but that was great.

Re: Premier League sack race

Think he would turn Chelsea into a good team if given time, luckily Chelsea are not smart enough to do that and I hope they bin him off soon.

Pochettino being a success at Chelsea would be horrendous for Spurs.

Re: January transfer window

Sunderland just signed a winger. {ex Spurs kid). Free up Clarke maybe. He does play in exactly the same position (at least he did at Spurs youth level) so if Clarke's not off now you’d imagine the summer would be a certainty. Curious how there were links to Clarke, Edwards and Carter Vickers (ex Sp...

Klopp will be reversing his retirement at this rate, no one healthy would walk away from this team.

It’s the owners and people in charge of Everton that are doing that.

There is a reason West Ham will never have these kind of issues.

Re: January transfer window

Is Marcus Edwards any good? I was barely aware of him before. His career trajectory/stats vaguely remind me of the likes of Josh Maja and Chuba Akpom - promising London kids who disappear abroad from an early age having not cracked or even attempted the Premier League. Decent stats abroad but nothi...

Re: January transfer window

One of the things a lot of the compilations of Jack Clarke won’t show is his work rate and running. He is a massively hard workings player as well as being technically good. I think the debate of if he's ready for the Premiership is valid but I think he will 100% be ready in a season or so. I watch ...

Re: January transfer window

Never really understood why it didn’t work out for Bergwijn at Spurs, got everything you need for the Premiership but never looked like he felt free enough to access his skills often enough. When he did he was good. Playing under Mourinho and Conte I suspect, as well as everyone, including them bang...
