To each their own.

I think that fans who abuse a manager and then have a tantrum when the manager offers a little bit back are a bit muggy.

I bloody love that these two managers are part of our history.

Pep knows - he knows that a prem manager of a club with more modest means is required to take a different approach to winning. Moyes and Sam are total trail blazers for the wannabe’s.

We certainly do. However, despite the set backs I do think in Cornet we have a player who can do that job. He is very talented but has been blighted with injury. Fingers crossed for him

Re: ✍ Welcome, Jarrod Bowen

He is much more than a ‘steady Eddie’ but there is certainly a place in the squad for a hard working, reliable and versatile player such as Bowen. If it’s a choice between him and the hot and cold Rashford I know which one I’d choose.

Re: Sam's ear

Sam's confidence was just what we needed when he joined, but it grew highly annoying towards the end of his tenure. All that "I'm right, everyone who disagrees with me is wrong" business underscored how that confidence eventually gave way to arrogance. Do you not think fans had a part to ...

Surely the bigger story is why Pam St Clements was standing behind him when he did it?

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I have been mulling over the following possible scenario; ‘’Moyes has been offered a new contract as first team coach as opposed to manager. This means that Tim assumes control of transfers and other stuff. Moyes is perturbed by this and needs until the end of the season to consider if that is a str...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

If we don't make a big sale in the summer then we're not going to have the budget for 3/4 first XI starters Best part of 60mil here; Keherer (15mil), Benrahma (20mil), Fornals (6mil), Downes (15mil). Given the inactivity in January I would say the club should reasonably add another 40mil to that po...

Gallagher is nailed on for Tottenham If he wasn't, it'd still not be the best way to spend 30 to 50 million Any CMs coming in need to be a viable alternative to Alvarez Spot on. Completely agree. However, the timing of this international window is also utterly preposterous. Nobody really wants it in the middle of a run in and it encourages big clubs to be disingenuous around injuries.

You don’t think Chelsea are in the s**t for FFP? They almost certainly incur a points deduction next season unless they have a fire sale.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Nice summary HM11. This Summer will be an interesting window for a few reasons. I think there may be a few bargains to be had domestically as clubs like Chelsea have to cut their cloth accordingly. I’m sure we will get linked again to the usual suspects. Forest, if relegated, will also have several ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Ben Johnson’s potential departure this summer will force the clubs hand at full back. I personally dont think he passes muster as a regular first teamer but if he does go, and assuming Cresswell and Keherer follow, it will mean West Ham have zero cover on either side. That is of course if you don’t ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

I see Ex on his podcast (apparently) suggested Oggy will be offered a new one year contract, on reduced wages. Unless Nathan leaves where does a new CH fit in? I would hazard a guess that Ogbonna’s value relates more to his leadership and role modelling of younger players. Should he stay I think he...

Point of order. They are all good players Whether they are good enough to make the leap into the PL is the question. Our lens is West Han though and all too often there is a call to give these kids a run out in a team challenging for the top 6 in the best league in the world. . . Players capable of...
