Re: [POLL] Are YOU happy at the Olympic/London Stadium?

I had a season ticket with my then 14 yr old boy in chav corner. We continued for the first season just in case it was better than I expected but it was absolutely pony. Loads of us in chav corner were assured we would move like for like to be next to the same people but on arrival at the first gam...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

#gentrified I may have mentioned this before.... Good luck with the protest. I hope it gets media attention and wakes up more supporters to where the problem lies at the club to put some pressure on GS&B and makes them uncomfortable until 2022 (or whenever the profit share payment requirement ends).

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

With no proper pubs to really choose from. I'm far from the stadiums biggest fan, but I've found the pub options around Stratford far better than we had around UP/Plaistow/East Ham. It's about the only thing that has been a bonus from the move for me. The rest of that is spot on though. The stadium...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

It could have gone anywhere but clearly it hit his arm, did he gain an advantage, no, he still had work to do and kept his composure with a great pass to Snodgrass who cleverly beat Henderson inside his near post. He might have still had work to do and it looked accidental, but he clearly gained an...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

Sadly the correct decision today. We got a clear advantage from Rice's handball, which I'm ok with as a rule even if it is accidental. Now whether getting more correct decisions but losing the spontaneity is better than keeping the spontaneity but with more wrong decisions, that is debatable. I was ...

Reading the posts on this thread, maybe it's The SYP people should be worried about.
As with any game under SYP or WMP jurisdiction, you should be more concerned about the coppers than the home fans.

Re: David Moyes

I'm assuming you are like Romford used to be on here and dissing anyone with an opinion who doesn't put in the miles. Not at all. I just find it's incredibly easy to come on here and advocate boring football grinding out points when the only time and effort put in is opening a laptop or turning the...

Re: David Moyes

So what if Moyes' teams play boring football at times, as long as it will get us to safety, surely that is all that matters for this season, and then let him build from there, see what he can do. Same thinking as GS&B. I'm assuming you don't spend any time and money watching us to justify that thin...

Re: David Moyes

Having to put so much objectivity in today - how do we know he hadn't been approached by other clubs? How do we know he has been approached by other clubs and he decided not to take the job? We speak like we know these things, but we don't. he may have been approached for all we know, he may not ha...

Total bottle job. When was the last time he actually took responsibility and regularly took a full back on? He's a winger FFS.

Hadleigh, do you think the atmosphere at the OS is on par with other teams support if their team @home?
It's ****, and shitter than most, but most home teams support is **** nowadays anyway. It's certainly not the fans who attend home games fault the team is dogshit though, I'm not having that.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini (Now Sacked)West Ham United’s 17th manager

I think if you read my original comment which you've jumped on, you'll note that I started by saying the owners are mostly culpable. I just wanted to highlight that the fans do play a part in overall atmosphere & culture too. I definitely did not say that all fans are toxic & negative nor did I say...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini (Now Sacked)West Ham United’s 17th manager

If you noted I referred to the ground (away supporters mostly) as positive. Thank you for noting me standing out, but comments like that prove my point. So those of us who go are toxic, negative ***** and its our fault we're ****. Thanks for telling me that all the way from NZ on your high horse. N...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini (Now Sacked)West Ham United’s 17th manager

I think the owners are hugely culpable for our precarious position, but aside from a (large) number of regular away supporters, I think our fans need to look in the mirror based off of what I read on KUMB, twitter & facebook on a regular basis. We've been toxic & negative supporters going back as f...

Re: Away support in the Home end?

I have no problem with away fans in home section if they keep there mouth shut and don't be disrespectful, done it plenty of times myself but always respect home crowd. I do when it is as many as we have. One reason the atmosphere is so dog **** it is because there are so many away fans/neutrals/to...
