It's a mistake.

We need to carry on playing as we were. A great performance so far :scarfer:

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

Apologies if this has been done to death as I’m late to the party but is anybody else pissed off with the way our, grantedly ****, team is being patronised by the commentators?

Ffs, they can’t even be bothered to hide it.

Re: Man City (Non-WHU)

Did I see Gerrard (effectively) say he’s watching to see if the PL will strip City of their titles and hand him a medal?

How many titles were his current club stripped of when they were sent down the leagues?

Can’t stand that guy.

Re: West Ham ladies break even

Beaten 8-0 by Chelsea the other day but as long as the books are balanced phew.

When did football stop being a sport? Everything at every level it seems is all about money.

(Not a dig at any posters here in case it comes across as such)

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Re: Lomas, he probably knows that he fits GSB’s profile for a manager in the Championship, an ex-player who’d be cheap to appoint. Maybe he has an eye on that in his comments on the club?

Re: Protests against the board being planned

I think GSB have massively overplayed their hand. Given their alleged links to unsavory elements of society, I think it’s nailed on that they’ll try to agitate at the forthcoming protests. However, this would only work if, as they expect, it would lead to condemnation in the press of the support as ...

Jesus, that took an unexpected turn while I was away!!

Agreed GCRO, it’s be perfect if Nolan called it as you say but I can’t see it happening unfortunately.

Re: Possible Takeover Bid ?

But whose fault was that GCRO? Squarely on the board that Moyes didn’t have the coaches he wanted / needed, in terms of numbers and /or personnel.

Owners facing rising unrest among supporters and press showing an interest.

Suddenly there’s a takeover in the offing and a former fan favourite returns as a coach.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Best of luck to you all today. Well done.

Agree with DL and others, the net is closing on them. They’ve been sussed alright but they won’t go gentle into that place where people who’ve made their lives all about exploiting and abusing others go.

Irons!

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Seriously, exactly when did journalism die? I suppose if SSN have some gobshite "influencer" on TV talking about who he thinks his current favourite club should sign, my lament for the death of journalism is a bit late! But come on, there must be one, just one, journalist worthy of the name who can ...

Who’s the young promising centre back currently playing for a PL club that Chelsea are after according to Kaveh Whatshisname (sworn to secrecy apparently :hush:)? £50m deal in the offing.

Edit: beat me to it HA

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

With respect I'm not sure posters are grasping where we are. The "project" has been abandoned. We need to survive. Joe Allen would be an asset. As would Valencia and Giroud. All the next 18 months are about is securing 60 points. Suck it up. Pardon? Nobody's talking about a project (at least I'm no...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Joe Allen? An oldish, slowish midfielder who isn't from Canning Town. His thread will be absolutely toxic within a month of signing for West Ham :)
