Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

We moved from the Boleyn as a block of 23 from the upper East (all ages from 18 - 70), I had seat B23 with the away supporters down to the right looking across the 18 yard line at the North Bank end (I never called it anything else!) taking some of rows A, B, C & D, we all loved that place. Every ga...

Re: The beautiful game? Best football fights

I was going to mention this one. Was watching from The Chicken Run. From memory (dodgy), he punched him square in the face & knocked him flat out. Turned around and started to walk off the pitch to huge applause, before the referee could even get his book out. I think i asked you before, you aren't...

Re: The beautiful game? Best football fights

I remember Keith Robson punching George Burley and getting sent off, what a punch that was!!!!
Cant find it anywhere on youtube , however some of our longer serving supporters may remember it.

Couldn't agree more with that.

Really? **** GSB Yes, really. 45 years following them. Another **** season and possible relegation won't make me stop, it's West Ham, it's what we know... Good luck with that one mate, I renewed, I knew I shouldn't have done but I did. I felt the way you do but its a bit like the missus sleeping ar...

Re: Gold and Sullivan Stick or Twist

I actually started this thread on Thu Aug 06, 2015 8:36 pm It was called "Gold and Sullivan Stick or Twist" however that was changed by the Mods due to the Big Sam furore at the time. Nothing has changed since then so I am asking the Mods (UTJ) to reinstate the original title, hopefully that will ha...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

And we always will right there.... what ever happens or indeed doesn't happen in transfer windows or whether we get relegated, we'll all be following West Ham and be back on here crying about it  Really? I am struggling to go to that dustbowl and even dropped off posting on this site. I really...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017 Targets

I did begin my post with ' If Leicester are relegated then we stand a good chance of signing Jamie Vardy , he's 30 now and very gettable ' but I thought you'd be bored so just went with Transfer Targets which after all is the whole point of the thread - it's more of a wish-list than who G&S will ac...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017

One thing that this window has taught us is that Payet was right. Don't really blame him for wanting out as our owners have demonstrated their complete lack of ambition.once again. I would have been angry at the business in this window even if we had still been at the Boleyn with gates of 35000 and...

Dont disagree with that Coops, but this is not the first window this has happened, probably the same over the last 20 years bar the "lucky 2015" summer window, or Harrison/Kitson.

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017

So as a summary we have lost our best player and replaced him with Snodgrass. Replaced a first team defender with another one so no change there, and still not got a rb or striker? Made a profit in Jan and not spent the mythical Zaza money, all whilst throwing in a few exotic names like Fabregas an...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017

Getting a cheap rental deal for the OS against LLDC representatives is one thing, negotiating against a professional football club like Marseille seems to be a different kettle of fish. I would be extremly disappointed if West Ham settled for a low price below 30 million. Especially if there is not...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017

Lurked on here for years. Couple of things though I really do not get. It was not down to Sullivan we did not get a RB till late summer. Bilic had Antonio as RB and Byram as cover until the former's no show at The Bridge. Surely we are not suggesting DS should be telling Bilic who to play. Also thi...
