Re: Anti board chants for Bournemouth game

Like Moyes or loathe him, Pellegrini had to go and in the circumstances and at this stage of the season who do people think we could get in? Also, don’t remember too many complaints about Pellegrini when he was appointed??? Always bad on this site. I’m coming off for good. Can’t stand the negativit...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I thought it was a great interview. In terms of premier league opportunities he is probably drinking in the last chance saloon. That is why I think it will work. Him not getting it last time has galvanised him further. If it doesn’t work out then it won’t be for want of trying. Can’t ask more reall...

an 18 months contract seems a strange one - long enough to entice Moyes to sign, but short enough to know that if it goes tits up by the end of the window they can get rid of him cheap enough.
Yep sounds like that is the plan.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

So we’ve got him back, and now we need to back him. For all the cons we can pick on for Moyes we do need to look at the pros whilst also remembering one thing, you cannot please everyone. What some might seem as dour football others see as quite exciting, that’s why are all so different. Ultimately...

Maybe that’s how we should be doing things though, playing to our squads strengths rather than trying to force a style on players who can’t play it.

Re: Away fans in home end

Sad state of affairs. The fact these City fans turned up in their colours says a lot. Ive been in the home end a few times to watch us I wouldnt dream of wearing anything that would make people think I supported the away team. I wouldnt dream of cheering a goal either. If I did id expect a smack in...

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread

A lot of people unhappy on here with a 3-1 win and although I can sort of see why, we should remember we are West Ham and not perfect by any means. This is like the sixties where we had a dodgy team with a sprinkling of magic. We just need a cup win to go with it. I really enjoyed the game. Excitin...

Thought we were very good for the first 20 mins or so and maybe edged it..............
in the second half the wheels really fell off but 5-0 was probably a little flattering for them?!

Re: Andy Carroll

I loved Big Andy when he was fit. Complete monster who bullied even the strongest defenders. Sadly, it didn’t work out with injuries ruining a career that should have been more. Part of me is sad to see him go, as I always had the (naive) dream that suddenly he would put his injuries behind him and...
