Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Comolli signed a 17-year-old left back who was constantly injured. It is Harry Redknapp who deserves the credit for converting him into a winger and developing him as a player. He signed a 17 year old with incredible physical gifts and a ton of talent, that's what you do, you sign youngsters based ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Apparently we're paying 75% of Roberto's wages ! Bonkers. I wonder how many superstars we will be "in talks" with in the morning papers (on the eve of our protest) ? Not surprising at all, his value cratered, anyone taking him on is taking a risk and they aren't taking that risk and paying his full...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

He's out of contract in six months. As noted there is a unilateral 1 year extension available. Makes the most sense for them to hold him. If they get promoted it's much easier to sign him to a new long-term deal, if they don't they can trigger the extension, slap a 20M price tag on him and get far ...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

Everton have been poor this season. They're full of overpaid Champions League rejects, Ancelotti even said they lack fight after they lost to Liverpool u23s. Our players will certainly show more grit under Moyes than Everton will, Richarlison out is big as well. It will come down to a moment of qua...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

As nice as mars bars are they wont keep you in the premiership. :) We are a haller injury away from real panic stations, Young, pacy forward who scores goals isint going to be a problem getting into our team. Bowen is exactly the type we need as its a no lose scenario, he'll more than hold his valu...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Your completely missing the point, Even without samuelson this is the type of player we need, young hungry and scores goals, the guy is in the championship and has 1 year left, the figures being bandied around are 15 million, even if you say to hull we'll take him on loan for the samuelson fee with...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I also don't see Bowen as a good target for us right now. Leeds offer is 3M loan with an additional 15M in the summer to make it permanent. Assume Hull would only accept if it gets up to at least 20M.... do we really want to pay 20M for a smallish winger who can also play as a small striker? Given o...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Why on earth did we not offer samuelson plus cash for bowen?? Bloke doesnt have too long left on his deal and surely would have been interested, evwn works from the perspective we go down as he would be as hes been this season in the championship lethal. Bowen would cost, Samuelson was getting a ve...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

So I was looking at the free players available, because that seems out M.O. Anyone heard anything about what is going on with Younousse Sankharé? I know his transfer in the summer fell apart last minute and he and Sousa had a falling out so bad that they agreed to mutually terminate his deal in late...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

According to the Daily Star, we were offered Lazaro and Vecino on loan, but aren’t interested. An upgrade on what we have in 2 positions of need so don’t know how true that is. Also says we have no interest in Joe Allen. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/west-ham-off...

Re: Grady Diangana

Not a fan of a 2nd season being locked in, just because there are so many variables. For this year though, keeping him there is smart. Our team is thin so many places, but where Diangana plays isn't one of them. He'd struggle with there being at most 2 places for him to try and beat out: Lanzini, An...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

That is an absolutely shocking squad and is evidence of years of mismanagement and under investment! I think Everton are the nap of the weekend, almost as guaranteed as an England batting collapse! I will say, that is assuming that Fab, Antonio, Anderson, Masuaku, Fredericks, Wilshere and Yarmolenk...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

lets hope he has a poor day on Saturday although he always scores against us ! so allen looks likely, who does he actually replace ? noble for 30 mins when his legs have gon e. perhaps the idea is to have a half each. not what we need any sign of a RB ? Probably Noble from the jump against any team...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

There is no reason on earth that our interest in Barkley has been leaked to the press . Unless deliberate. Of course Lampard or the club wouldnt help us. Likewise Spus and the Gedson deal that indicates most of London would happily see us off! It's humiliating to be a West Ham fan today. Bloody hea...

Is Lanzini out? Am I missing something?
Nope, I just forgot him for some reason. Slot him in on the bench for one of the youngsters

Martin is very good with his feet. In the few games hes played, thats very evident.
Huh? He couldn't even handle simple passes against Sheffield, was panicking every time he got a backpass. He's exceptionally uncomfortable with the role of receiving and distributing back-passes.

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

So from the sounds of things we could be without Antonio, Masuaku and Anderson this weekend? Assuming all are out, the lineup is going to be ugly Randolph Balbuena Ogbonna Diop Zabaleta Cresswell Rice Noble Snodgrass Haller Fornals Bench: Martin, Cardoso, Rosa, Ngakia, Ajeti, Sanchez, Reid

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

berge and foyth would sort out this squad, both are available and at reasonable prices, both starters and offer serious competition in the 2 positions we are shortest in as well as being under 22, very technical, athletic and tall hopefully theres some truth to the earlier berge links and we are qu...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

As much as our goal keepers have cost us points this season, we are getting to the stage where our potential survival will come down to our ability to win our "winnable" games and worrying about the finer details of the deal for a BACKUP keeper is just stupid. All we do is hope he'll do a passable ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Ricardo Rodriguez has joined Fenerbache on loan from Milan with an option of a €6m transfer. A high quality left back. Surely we should have shown some interest on those terms? Doesn't seem a great fit, he can only play on the left, and his strengths are considered to be in his attacking play and h...
