Re: Things you've always wanted to know......

A while ago I watched a TV program (No Offence - Channel 4) where a girl kills a peado by squirting expanding foam in his mouth.

Would this kind of death be painful or pretty instant? I'm guessing suffocation is the main cause?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

When was the last transfer window where we failed to sign an outfield player?

You should see my David Moyes commemorative tea set and tablecloth!

The centrepiece shows him gleefully clutching the Charity Shield. Unfortunately it doesn’t have any cups...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

That’s exactly what they are saying & it’s true. Last three games we’ve set up not to lose & taken 1 point. Leicester in particular he got it very wrong. So yes I’m saying a different coach could/would get different results. That's my biggest criticism (outside of our recruitment 'strategy'). Setti...

Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller

For £45m I would expect a striker to actually do a bit. We could sign 3 strikers from the championship for less that would all put more effort in, and ultimately score more, than Haller.

Re: Little things that irritate you

Judges giving out very lieniiant 'punishments'. Local to me, a 15 year old girl was knocked down and killed. The driver admitted to driving through a red light. A witness statement and other evidence proved that he only started braking once the light turned red. He admitted to causing death by carel...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

But we are in a position to try. True. At times it feels like we barely even trying to play one way or another. Two shots on target says we didn't try to play attacking football and create tons of chances. 4 goals conceded (albeit 2 late on) says we didn't try and keep it tight at the back either. ...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

Yes, to be honest. It's not why I watch the game of football. Is winning 2-0 playing like Burnley better than losing 4-1 and playing like The Dog and Duck? On balance, yes it clearly is better, but that's not really the point is it. If we can't strive to play a type of football that fans actually w...

Is there anything more annoying than getting stuck next to a group of whittering women on the train in the morning?

If it's not the incessant nattering it's the incredibly dull conversation topics.

No, but I want us to win two nil anywhere. Especially Old Trafford.

If we won 2 nil last night, would anyone on this thread be saying ".....we won but I'm not happy because we played like Burnley" ?

Having 30% possession in a Premier League match shows you don't belong there. It's our time to go down, we'll get everything we deserve.
Burnley, 7 points better off than us, beat Manchester United away with only 28% possession last night...

2 shots on target and 32% possession. A 4 - 1 defeat.

That is absolutely terrible.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I'm guessing the 'hold up' is Sullivan hoping he doesn't need to spend any money. The problems with our squad are the same now as they were in the summer. They are the same under Moyes as they were under Pellegrini.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I wanted Pellegrini sacked a while before he was. I didn't want Moyes to replace him. Regardless, if the board don't spend money now then the blame for a terrible season will lie firmly at their door.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Moyes probably knows that criticising his squad, however justified, will only serve to demoralise his players. Sullivan won't open his wallet all of a sudden because Moyes tells the press we are short of quality all over the park. We only signed Randolph because Boro owed us money. That alone should...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

Right now I would take a point but knowing West Ham we will be in a comfortable position until late on and give away an easy goal which will make a draw feel like a defeat.
