Re: Netflix and Amazon Video
Never read the books but I’m digging it Pete. Netflix seem to be going pretty hard with all this existential ‘human beings are ****ing up the world’ type content (Don’t Look Up, Leave The World Behind etc) - this is by far the most interesting take yet. Sci-Fi meets satire that doesn’t beat you ove...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Toney is a decent Premier League player. We've signed plenty better, higher profile players in the past, yet some on here are talking as if he's the same level as Harry Kane in terms of of chances of signing him. I prefer Solanke, but we'd have more chance signing Toney at this stage, neither are ou...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Maybe they were there to support Jarrod?
If however, they were there on some form of scouting mission, it would imply that Moyes has one eye on next season, would it not?

Lord Angelo of Ogbonna is our best defender, by some distance.
Shows how poorly we've recruited in that department in recent years.
I think Mavropanos, given time, will step up a level.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
The high expected turnover of players this summer, is just another reason why Moyes should be kept on. Not a job you'd want a new manager to oversee, especially one trying to implement new ideas at the same time. Stability and continuity! Edit: but then it might be the perfect time for a new manager...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I doubt that very much, he's a thick skinned Scot, he isn't likely to let a small minority sway him one way or another, if he did, he would never have taken the Man Utd job, or come back to us a second time.
Any delay I suspect is down to ironing out the finer details.
