Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Ngakia getting rave reviews at Watford. Now Fredricks injured again, makes the decision to let go of Ngakia and not increase his wages even more dumb. .....but we didn't let him go, it wasn't supposedly just about wages, he wanted assurances about 1st team football, this was said by BOTH sides, not...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I would have loved to get Santiago Ascacíbar as a 2nd DM. Pellegrini has clearly targeted that area e.g Dendoncker and Carvalho. For that reason, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Cardoso get time as a DM (and even LB) before he gets a shot at CB. Both Carvalho and Dendonker were Billic potential sign...

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19

What am I missing here? Are we letting them have him for the rest of the season for a £3m saving? Just pay the release and get him now. Not that i believe this random twitter account but if this was true we would be paying in installments over many years. If we pay the release clause, it has to be ...

agreed but set a compromise and get the deal done.

what I mean is if we value him at 50M it's not really 50M is it as we have to give 6M to Stoke. ergo only 44M. if we really value him at 50M it should be 50M plus 6.
Or 50M plus 10M as 56M doesnt bring in 50M to us....

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs

Sounds to me that Arnie is just a bit P*ssed off about WHU rightfully playing hardball It's not even hard ball. 35m is a bit insulting and was the first offer. It is not like they have put good money down on the table and we are trying to screw them. I totally agree, I was writing from the mindset ...

Sounds to me that Arnie is just a bit P*ssed off about WHU rightfully playing hardball and the deal apparently (depending on what what site your read info from) being dead, He has history of arrogance and being an A'hole at times, but this is what made us love him in his new role as he does believe ...

The FC Zurich striker appeared set for a dream switch to Brighton and Hove Albion before the move fell through due to health concerns, although Dwamena has since had extensive tests on his heart and is back playing again for club and country. http://www.espn.com/soccer/ghana/story/3227425/raphael-dw...

Re: David Moyes: should he stay or should he go? [POLL]

I keep reading in here and on other sites, Moyes was sacked, no, Moyes quit.... both are baloney. Moyes had a contract, that contract expired Sunday Night. Maybe they wanted him to stay, maybe they didn't, maybe he wanted to stay, maybe not. We wont know until its spilled in David Moyes Autobiograph...

Re: January transfer window

He is supposedly on £135k a week which, if you believe reports, we are now paying. €2.7 million (net) per year, according to gazzetta dello sport . that works out at about £45k a week. Yep I saw this too a few weeks ago when I looked into it when he was 1st touted, but since then Claret&Hugh ca...

Happily pay that and a small fee, to take on the risk that he is. His upside is still very high and he is class when at his best. Also feel we are the perfect club for him.
He was on 90K and got a 20K pay rise on his last contract apparently in 2016

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017

When you look at it from Sunderland's point of view I doubt they will let him go for anything below £15 million as you get at least £30-£40million for staying up in the league and he's their biggest weapon. Looking at it from our point of view paying £15 million for someone who is great atm, but mi...
