Re: Little things that irritate you

I would argue the issue doesn't lie with the comic, they are just just doing what anyone else would do when you chuck more and more money at them. They take the gig, but also they get the abuse that comes with it when it doesn't work out. It's the nuggets at the TV companies though that are the caus...

Re: BBQ 2024

Does anyone barbecue vegetables? Leeks, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, courgettes, beans etc etc How do you do it? Griddle? hot plate? foil? skewers? I use something like this, works a treat with veg or anything maybe a bit delicate for the grill rack. I tend to coat my veg with some rub of my choo...

Re: Little things that irritate you

Cats hate anything citrusy - they have sensitve smelling organs and the don't like it. Try putting orange peel and lemon peel around the places they poo. and buy some of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/citrus-spray-cats/s?k=citrus+spray+for+cats I love an orange, so I will definitely give that a whi...

Re: Little things that irritate you

First off a neighbour... couldn't fit every stereotype if they tried. But, specifically said neighbour has lots of cats. There is at least 3 at the moment but there was definitely more than this at one point. She didn't get them neutered, they probably still aren't, and more kept appearing. Said cat...

I'm sure we've had this before. End of the game, they are packing up the gear instead of paying attention. It's so poorly implemented VAR that it is just a joke at this point.

Re: In other news

There's been a whole hurr durr thing about a clip of some bloke trying to give advise to a woman on a driving range, not realising she's a pro golfer. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-68379930 Some people are getting properly excited about "mansplaining" over it. Does anyone else remem...

Picked up some Welsh Dragon sausages from the butchers yesterday. Bit of leek and chilli in them. Lovely in a sandwich this morning.

This bit struck me Now while that maybe true, if the law is you can't stay with a conviction here surely if you are in genuine dread of going back you keep your nose clean. Exactly, and we aren't talking about a petty crime like robbing a couple of 6 packs from the local newsagent either. He had 2 ...

His asylum application was twice turned down, but granted on the third occasion when he claimed to have converted to Christianity, and that being returned to Afghanistan was therefore a risk.

Re: VPN multiple devices

VPN on each device is the easiest, and most sensible for this usage. All the big ones have apps for windows, android, apple etc. You only really want to play with VPN at router level if you are hosting your own to protect your network. I currently use Nord at the moment as it had the best deals at t...

Re: Little things that irritate you

Wanted a recipe to make pork belly burnt ends. Dug through youtube and found several, each one presented by a man with chronically morbid obesity. Has put me off, somewhat. Surely that's how you know it's good? So good they couldn't stop. The 2 that always pop up for me is Heath Riles and Malcolm R...
