seems to have worked out quite well for spurs though? Not really, the only player they signed with the Bale money who has really come good is Eriksen. They sold most of them as they were flops (Paulinho, Capoue, Chadli, Chiriches, Soldado) and they still have Lamela who's never really looked worth ...
