Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

I’ve heard from some good sources that he is completely disillusioned with the game. So much so that he may just walk away. This is clearly showing in his performances.

He needs to be dropped for his own sake.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

If the only examples you can come up with of rich owners who rent a ground for 26 days of the year are Sullivan and Hearn, which didn't happen, then it's not " any rich owner" Well it’s not like these stadiums become available every week is it? There are plenty of other examples in business of rich...

Re: The Relegation Rebuild & Casualties

I thought it was a relegation clause that allowed a club to buy him for £20m?

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

That is right up there as being one of their most heinous decisions. Even as owners, REAL West Ham 'fans' would have completed the Upton Park renovation. To move us to the monstrosity that is the OS? They absolutely didn't do that, as West Ham fans. They did it for themselves. As would any rich own...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

One popular comment on here is that it's never about the results and people would watch us in League 1 or 2. I'd be interested in a poll to see how strong that view is... Question would be: Would you take a relegation (or two) if it guaranteed GSB's exit?

Re: The Relegation Rebuild & Casualties

Isn't it telling that most of us couldn't give a toss if they all went?

In every relegation, we've had players that it was painful to see leave. Not this time.

Re: Possible Takeover Bid ?

Makes you wonder how we got 75% of the crowd singing "Sack the Board" during the Bond scheme fiasco... Surely with the advent of Social Media it should be easier than back in 91/92.

I guess us supporters were just that little bit more bothered back then.

Can anyone take them seriously?

£1.5m spent on Scouts? That might be true, but the real fact still remains that we currently have one scout employed. Counting scouts that you have since fired is creative book keeping on the scale of Boris Johnson!

Do you believe that Randolph was good enough for us in 2017?
Absolutely. He was as good as Adrian. He was certainly better than Joe Hart!!

As others have said, he was a great backup keeper which is why he will be this time too. Sounds like you’ve just got a problem with him...

We sold him in 2017 because he wasn't good enough. We only signed him again because Middlesbrough owed us money.
Why do people keep posting this? He left because Sullivan brought Hart in and it was obvious one of either Adrian or Randolph would leave to get first team football...

How industrious and aggressive in the challenge is Bowen compared to Haller, Ajeti and Lanzini?
3x Haller
10x Ajeti
25x Lanzini

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Maybe. But for us to be taken over by new owners we need some investors to show some interest. As far as I am aware we haven't had that yet. And knowing our luck of having sh*t owners throughout the history of the club, I can't see that changing any time soon. I noticed the Baroness is allowed to h...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Looks that way to me, that's quality from our Captain, offering the new signing the chance to get off the mark. Equally impressed that Haller didn't take him up on it. *Haller has scored 23 and only missed 1 in his career... Look at him also talking to Arthur, more than likely about the pace of Del...

Yes, agree but that wouldn’t have been because of VAR, that would have been Peller’s shitty tactics!

Yet I thought when City had their goal ruled out, it gave us a boost, sure it lasted all of 5 minutes, but I’d say it would have benefitted us more against a weaker opponent.

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

Whilst I disagree almost entirely with your previous post, I do agree with you here. I regularly read that VAR has been brought in for the benefit of the TV companies but can’t really see what they get out of it. I can’t see any particularly great benefits to Sky or the BBC of VAR being used in gam...
