Re: Happy Birthday Carlos Sanchez

I've been going since the mid 70's and both Sanchez & Roberto walk into an all time worst West Ham eleven. Unbelievably bad signings.

I will be surprised if we even muster a shot on target against them. 0-6

Re: Welcome (again), Darren Randolph

He was a complete liability last time and I was delighted when we got rid of him. Unbelievable we have paid to get him back, an awful signing.

Re: Worst team of the decade

Roberto

Pogatetz
Arbeloa
Danny Collins
Illunga

Kovac
Sanchez
Nordveit
Tore

McCarthy
Zaza

Some incredibly bad players in there. I thought Pogatetz was the worst player I had seen in our shirt in the last 5 decades but then came Roberto...!

Re: Who was responsible for signing Roberto?

Never mind who was responsible for signing him, who is responsible for him still playing every week? How bad must David Martin be not to be picked ahead of this imposter? And if Martin is even worse and cannot be trusted, why was he signed? This could end up relegating us.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Newcastle United: Match thread (2/11)

Roberto is killing us in goal. We have plenty of problems out on pitch as well but this guy is not giving us a hope of winning games. Hard to see us winning at all whilst Fabianski is out.

Re: 1989/90 season revisited

It obviously didn't work out for Macari here but Ludo, Allen, Bishop & Morley formed a big part of our team for quite a few years after he signed them. Even Jimmy Quinn got us some goals for a cheap fee.

Were the Wolves fans noisy though Jon?

Re: ⚽ Brighton and Hove Albion vs West Ham United: Match Thread

No physical presence in that team at all. Ogbonna and Masuaku at the back mean an error is always just around the corner. Got a thumping written all over this. Would rather Antonio up front than Hernandez. Not going to be pretty.

Re: Arthur Masuaku

An awful defender who is positionally terrible and constantly fouls. I can't understand why he has been given a new, long contract. I sometimes wonder what other people are watching when they talk glowingly about him. Apart from Sanchez, he is the worst player at the club.

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs

His signing & goals probably kept us up in 2017/18 at the expense of Stoke so we got our moneys worth out of him. He was a waste of space last season and won't be missed as long as we get a half decent replacement.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Bit vague isn't it? 45 million and "a player". Palace want 70m for Wan Bissaka and Leicester want 80m for Maguire. He's in the same ballpark as those players so that's his price as well.

you've lost me here Neil. if he can stay fit i think welbeck could be very useful. we need more quality in depth. i couldn't give two hoots who spurs are trying to sign You appear to be the one who is lost Jon. Batshuayi - 25m delph - 5m? Shelvey - 15m welbeck - free kristoffer ajer - 20m che adams - 12-15m if lanzini was moved on; mason mount - loan if chelsea would allow given their transfer ban; reece james - loan that would be a fantastic window and all realistic options. ps on the basis we sold a few...
