Think a draw would be best for us here, won’t be many points between us and Leicester at the end of the season
Very little chance. Leicester aren’t quite there this season. Got to want them to take all 3 points.

Re: Other Games 14/1-17/1

Watching this game you see how it ends for Rodgers at Leicester, either soon or in the medium future. Will always threaten in attack but without Ndidi they’re more open and easy to cut through than even Leeds.

Re: Other Games 14/1-17/1

Still slightly baffled why Leicester went for Daka. Not that it wasn’t a good move but Iheanacho was their best player in the back half of last season and Vardy had scored a hatful.

Makes the loss against leeds harder to take
That’s the current frontrunner for annoying drop of the season - definite chance to push the chasing pack into the distance.

Newcastle away was the equivalent last year.

Re: Other Games 14/1-17/1

Going off the last few weeks, it’s likely to prove a surprise to a good number of a Spurs fans that games in hand aren’t automatically added to your win column.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Do we have any realistic chance of signing Schick, feels like another move from the chairman for an unrealistic signing..... Leverkusen have always been quite transactional. Don't necessarily sell cheap, but if you meet their price they tend to let their players go. There may be some measure of pri...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Is Schick going to be able to replicate what Antonio does for us? Does he need to replicate it? Antonio is still here so we aren't losing anything we don't already have, but might get something we don't have. Swiss Army Knife approach. A target man might be fairly handy at times given Antonio's mor...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Elsewhere, possibly helpful to have these gimps find a CB so they aren't competing with us Newcastle close in on £30m deal for Sevilla defender Diego Carlos Diego Carlos appears to have succeeded in forcing a move from Sevilla to Newcastle and could be registered in time to make his debut in Saturda...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Milldy unenthusiastic about attempting to sign Hlozek this window. Isn't currently a striker – appears to play mainly play behind the striker, or wide when he's not – so promising or not it does feel like losing sight of the main issues if we do this winter. It's not like we're going to be out of th...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Apparently they have put a huge bid in for Patrik Schick upwards of 40 mill Probably b*llocks as this is the dildo brothers, but this comes from the bloke who told me they had signed Jarrod Bowen way before the press picked it up. This is also probably already on here but i can't be arsed to look a...

The time between the sinking of the Titanic and the release of The Beatles’ Revolver was smaller than the gap between the release of The Beatles’ Revolver and the present day.

Thank you for making me feel incredibly old
The striker we brought off the bench against Leeds was 4 years old when Sears made the same journey from the bench against Blackburn.

Two for your man Carvalho tonight against Birmingham.

And 32 (!) year old Freddie Sears with a goal for Colchester.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

We could sign Hlozek, Carvalho and Buchanan tomorrow and none would play in our only remaining premier league match of the window. People would be happy but it would make no difference to waiting a week It's funny, I'd actually find that a really annoying window if we signed those three. Not becaus...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

The really strange thing is that all the 'my hairdresser told me' or rumours that involve sightings of moving vans arriving to gated houses near Romford have disappeared too. Which given they were based entirely on bull**** in the first place doesn't make sense that they've dried up in parallel with...

Re: Is now a good time for the season to be suspended?

Leicester have 11 first-teamers unavailable for their game against Spurs.

Hope it gets called off, for multiple reasons. But mainly because given it’s already anarchy, the best we can hope for now is a truly ludicrous fixture pile up for Tottenham from now until May.

Mistake, he sold Roberto (end of loan), good spot.
Not that I wouldn’t have enjoyed seeing the Highland Goebbels swing into action to defend what a great signing he was by Moyes.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

The one positive of Diop’s cratering form is it makes it very, very funny that Sullivan ran straight to his client journalists and loudly and categorically claimed he forced the signing through over the objections of others back when he was looking promising. A companion piece to his pinning Arnauto...
