Re: Grady Diangana

This kids good enough and a better option than Snodgrass in the right wing role.
We'll have him back next season full of confidence

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Crystal Palace: Match Thread

Barring injury it should be the following for the foreseeable:

Lanzini
Yarmolenko
Anderson
Haller

Even 1 howler per game from Roberto wont stop us winning with this attacking set up

Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller

Haller is one of the best strikers I've seen that's not selfish.
Even having not scored in a few games his still always looking for someone in a better position.
His absolute class.
This guys justified his price tag already as far as im concerned.

He needs to start scoring more goals to justify the price tag though.
15 goals is just fine if it means players around him score more and we finish high up the table.

Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller

He's obviously a very good footballer but he isn't a massive, massive goal scorer, so he needs to be the foil for someone else to get the goals like Yarno currently is, Jovic got bucketloads with him last two seasons and Rebic chipped in with a few. I actually think there is a good chance that Yarm...

Re: ⚽ AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United: Match Thread

Oxford away never happened, bit like the Bourne identity, all forgotten....so we move on. Back to Yarmolenko, Anderson and Haller as our top 3. Haller and Yarmo are due some goals too! Love to see Lanzini back but if not then Fornals needs to get himself back on track so needs a big game. Bournemout...

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)

1 from Fornals, Wilshere or Snodgrass can play in that role. It means Lanzini will only miss Bournemouth, Palace and Everton.

Time to see if our squad is good enough.
It's not a disaster.

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)

So the 'small' problem Pellegrini said Lanzini had last week turns out to be a month out. We just can't keep a fit squad. First Antonio, now Lanzini. If Haller is next, we will be in the ***** again. Where are you getting this information from? Didnt he have a fitness test on Sunday to see if he co...

I like him, but I want to see get on the goals trail
His scored 3 in 6. Let's see what happens when he actually gets some chances in front of goal...theyve mainly all fallen to other players.

His gonna be immense for us this season.

Re: Cresswell or Masuaku?

I'm not saying that Masuaku is a defensive liability. But I think it fairly obvious that more gaps open up at the back if you spend most of your time attacking more. Cresswell sits back more which is what we needed against Utd. Against Norwich however, Masuaku was perhaps a better fit. Who we play a...

Re: Cresswell or Masuaku?

I think a lot of it comes down to the opposition and the formation we play. Cresswell is clearly a better defender whereas Masuaku a better attacker. There will be games this season where we can throw caution to the wind and push on. Yesterday wasnt one of those games. Failing an injury to either pl...

Re: Cresswell or Masuaku?

Arthur links well with Anderson, which pushes him 10 yards up the pitch. Cresswell does not have the same connection but was good defensively today. I can't choose to be honest Of the two, Cresswell is more defensive minded. This for me gives us more balance and is precisely whats needed to shore u...

Re: Cresswell or Masuaku?

Based on today, you've got to stick with Cresswell.

Defensively strong today and that goal
