Re: Pablo Fornals

Give the kid a chance, he's come into the fastest and most physical league in the world, he's very young and getting limited game time so will continue to struggle to make the impact so many seem to be calling for.

Be patient, he will deliver!

You have used the future tense when you should have used the present tense, see corrected below....

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

\there is no evidence of him not seeing a game out. He is still able to make space to get a pass away. Still rarely gets dispossessed. You are looking no further than at his age. I'm convinced Pelle sees him as first choice partner to Rice with a fit Wilshire being the preferred third midfielder. N...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

I personally think his engine can no longer deliver at the level the manager wants and he should be 'club captain' rather than 'match captain'. That said I think he's been a fantastic and loyal servant in a sport populated by players and agents acting like prima donnas and whores and for that reason...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

It's rather depressing we're talking about Sanchez and Medel as DM options to support Rice, please God there's better out there and we hopefully are looking at them.

Re: Rugby union 2018/19

I went up to The Toon to watch this, Sarries were immense, I was sitting next to some Dub-Heads and they were panicking before the game, then when they started getting their nose in front they got all loud (in a nice way). **** me didn't they go quiet when we got them back before half time. Handshak...

Re: Was that you in 2006?

Used to deal with a tout who's tickets I used as prizes in my business back then. My eldest boy was just 6 and I couldn't let years pass him by without a final so I got a pair for £600 4 weeks before the final, that was half price!!! For the next 4 weeks my tout kept ringing asking if he could buy t...

Ajax - doing it again

Many of us on here are old enough to remember some of the great Ajax teams over the years, which is why it's so great to see them doing it again. This article from The Telegraph gives a nice insight into the current squad setting Europe alight. Dare to dream that WHUFC could do something similar????...

Re: The Battle for 7th

Anyone else think missing out on 7th is no bad thing this season? We have a number of players returning or trying to return from injury, we have a squad supposedly at odds with itself over salaries of the elite and the attitude of some. We have exposed positions that many on here have commented on s...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Ferguson wasn't in his 60s when he turned up at Man Utd. No he wasn't and so he didn't have the experience that Pellegrini has, besides he took over pre the Sky money days and the fissures between the haves and have nots that we see today. Keep the faith C&B82, we're onto a good thing with this old...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Didn't Sir Alex have a shaky first few seasons??? Nothing more than better football than what we'd been used to and steering well clear of relegation should have been the objective for season 1. Let the guy mould and build the team in his own vision over a 3 year period and then judge him. And BTW, ...
