Re: Javier Hernandez Signs

Excellent player and never saw any attitude problems at all. People didn't like his mannerisms? A striker has a right to demand the right service - and any pointing or 'petulance' was just him wanting to score as many goals for us as possible. Probably rightfully thought that if he was going to be b...

And although only a drop in the ocean compared to your list, we will be receiving a contribution to Hugill, Grady and Cullen's wages too.

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Knits the team together. Works selflessly. Marshalls the rest of the team. Drops into space defensively. Retains possession. Plays the killer ball. Essential to our style of play.

Anyone who questions his contribution is football-illiterate.

It all comes back to short arms and low pockets.

Fab has conceded way too many this season, so:

Roberto

Zab
Diop
Ogbonna
Cresswell

Rice
Fornals
Lanzini
Anderson

Haller
Ajeti

BENCH: Martin / Balbuena / Masuaku / Fredericks / Wilshere / Antonio / Snodgrass / Chica

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I've never really bought into the whole 'Premier League Winner', 'best manager we've ever had', 'we're lucky to have him' line personally. Don't get me wrong, I like him - he's a gent and he's got us playing some nice stuff at times but there are flaws. Chiefly, I think he fundamentally underestima...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Realistically, he didn't really have much choice yesterday. He had the choice to be sensible. We've already chopped and changed our back four by 50%, and we've only played two games. Unless Balbuena had a knock (in which case why was he on the bench rather than our new boy), why on Earth did he bre...

Re: ⚽ Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Pellegrini got the team selection all wrong. I can't for the life of me understand why we played Balbuena over Ogbonna. I also can't understand why we are chopping and changing our left back already - pick a man and back him. A settled back four is key to defensive stability, and we have swapped out...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I'm fairly strongly opting for the first and would actually be prepared to listen to offers for Hernandez to fund it, even if that does make Antonio the back up in a 'one up top' scenario. Sorry, but that's utter madness. Relying on having 1 (one!) natural striker in the squad, backed up by an inju...

Re: Grantham and areas

I'd advise the villages around Lincoln, they are beautiful. Hospital in Lincoln too and plenty to do and see. The top of the hill has so much history with the cathedral and the castle. Countryside is flat but nice. Stamford, Spalding and Woodhall Spa I'd also advise having a look at. Any questions,...

Best squad in my lifetime and people are still complaining.

We could sign two more players and the same people would still moan that we didn't sign three.
