Re: The Johnson Government 2019-2024
I just can't see how anyone can look at this Government and think, "yep, I'll be voting for this lot again next time around".

I agree that we should play our unique four fullback formation.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
Didn't he recently say that the plan has always been to sit down at the end of the season?

Re: Declan Rice
Yes I think he's looked a little jaded of late. Still a top top player but he made a great challenge followed by giving the ball away yesterday. He wasn't doing that earlier in the season.

Re: Manchester City Vs West Ham United: Match Thread
They have come a long way but remember they transitioned with Robinho (Haller) who never worked out, Stephen Ireland (Ravel Morrison with a pink jeep), Micah Richards (Ben Johnson) and Bellamy playing out of his skin. Oh and Tevez doing a nice little turn for them. No team is infallible. That said w...

Re: As it's quiet - a player poll
Ultimately you'd have to go with Parker, who's not listed, but I think certainly during Curbs' tenure you'd have to go with Neill, who we didn't really value properly until after he's gone and we were playing poor old crocked Faubert there.

Re: Declan Rice
He is a fantastic player but Carnage is right he has had a few poor touches and given the ball away dangerously at times. I think this is part of him evolving as a player though, he’s trying to become more of a box to box midfielder with the passing, driving runs, passing and shooting that entails....

Re: Welcome Jesse Lingard
If their interest in Rice is real, maybe they will bear that in mind if any deal for Lingard is to happen. "You can have Lingard for £10m if we can have first refusal on Rice?" For another thread of course but I think the thing that is keeping Rice here for now is that the likes of Man U ...

We've been threatening to batter the opposition for a while now, and I think this could be the game.
**** respecting the opposition, we need to get in their faces and make our presence felt.
4-1 with goals from Balbuena, Noble and Odubeko. Sterling gets their consolation to help my fantasy team.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
Much like Allardyce I’ll never warm to Moyes the man. But I had him wrong in thinking that he was a busted flush. I’m so glad that’s the case. Apologies Mr Moyes. Kindly carry on. I just don't get this. A respectful, hard working, softly spoken chap who was delivering vegetables during the first lo...

Craig Dawson is the new Ginge.
Soucek is the Fellaini we never had.
And Antonio is as likeable as anyone we've had since Carlton.
Best team for a long time.

Re: Welcome Jesse Lingard
He is clearly loving life with us. His work-rate is top-notch and I hope he keeps it up and then stays.
It's a fine line though, isn't it? Play well enough that we want to keep him but not so well that Man Utd want him back.

And just to think, the majority of us cringed when he uttered those immortal words in that press conference ''Winning is what I do" Majority, maybe, but by all means not all. Top, top manager. Probably the best of 'tier 2' in this country / on this continent. Was gutted to see him go, delighte...
