Re: Chelsea FC v West Ham United FC Match Thread

Looks pretty straight to me when I did my research. People tell me it is an interesting walk.steveyrockstar wrote:just checked on streetmap - canning town tube station is literally just a straight walk down barking road?

Re: West Ham v Aston Villa Match Thread
The Market Porter pub in Borough Market is where I and 3 pals will be drinking....then taking the same route. A bus from Canning Town station will still be quicker than walking though.[/quote] Sounds like a blast. I might have to swing by the pub. What time you taking the tube? Keep in mind, I gotta...

Re: West Ham v Aston Villa Match Thread
This is my last chance for the tickets to show in the mail box before I leave tonight. That Ticket Office is useless. I wanted to have the tickets so I can have more time to partake in the "finer" things of Upton Park. I guess the queue is in the cards for me. Hopefully, it won't be a mile...

Re: West Ham v Aston Villa Match Thread
Saturday transpo is gonna be a hassle one way or the other. I have decided that I am going to the Borough Market in the late morning to knosh and then swing by the tube to Canningtown and walk 30 mins to burn off some of the 10,000 calories I will ingest at the market. Unless someone has a better id...

Re: The Olympics
I remember Atlanta 96. Traffic was so awful, the MARTA (city rail) was jam packed to the gills. it was so fuckin' humid, and barely had any time to enjoy anything. I was a senior in HS and I would never go to the Olympics again after that experience. Everything was price gouged to the point we had t...

Where are John Terry's picks? That way you pick a different pony because John Terry will blow another 100k quid like he did a few years ago.

Re: new kits 2011/12
Under Armour shirts may last longer but then that just prolongs the agony... Bad designs are all I have seen from them... Although all they have to do for Sp*rs is put a navy cock & ball on a white shirt so surely they can't mess that up! Macron did a great job with our shirts this season imo, ...

For some stupid reason, I love the 2009-2010 Umbro shirts. It fits well on me and it has held up well so far.

Re: new kits 2011/12
Sp*rs have just signed a 5 yeard deal with 'Under Armour' !? A company famous for making the tops that go underneath the football shirts... what a poor choice! I'm glad we have not got them making our shirts, the spuds I know are going to be fuming... can't wait to see the pics of their new shirts,...
