Agree with the rest of your post. Nice lad, half decent footballer but never going to be the level we need as he offers nothing once he crosses the halfway line.
The game I was watching I saw Johnson have a great shot on goal, well struck, on target, which their keeper saved. Who else did?

Re: West Ham United V Olympiacos : match thread

TNT are stealing a living taking money for this streaming package. The longer the match goes on the more it starts buffering. It's virtually unwatchable now. Just as well I'm not missing anything

I can see from the thread we have scored. Unable to watch on Discovery . I see snatches of the match and then it starts buffers. Really poor quality - never had these issues with BT Sport or any other stream service

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v TSC Backa Topola: match thread

All I know is that it's a confusing (purposely I suspect) effort to get a month's subscription for Bt Sport, now renamed TNT sport via Discovery Plus but the subscription is still managed by BT Sport until October 4th, I think, I'm not sure anymore after spending almost an hour reading poorly descr...

Sam Allardyce "Of course, anyone can have an opinion, but it's how much weighting you give to that opinion. I get paid a significant sum of money for mine which might suggest it's of greater value than those offered for less, or free". True dat. If you pay me enough I'll tell you what you...

Always felt sorry for him. Conceding "that" goal in the FA Cup final and then being beaten by Gerrard again when he played in the WC for Trinidad and Tobago. The look on his face was priceless

Me too. It's impossible to use it now. I like browsing through while sitting in front of the TV when we're on LIVE but on my Samsung phone it's a no-go.

Trent Alexander-Arnold [non WHU]

Having listed him as a player I irrationally dislike I now have the utmost respect for him, funding "The After Academy" for kids released from academies (most of them will be) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65399672 (I still loathe the commentators who get off on him every time he's ...

Re: West Ham United v AEK Larnaca : Match Thread

I noticed that Mubama pronounced his first name 'Divan'. I bet he's still walking on air today. The BBC match report is quite good. It mentioned something that a few on here did last night, that Freddie Potts was reminiscent of Rice in midfield. Here's hoping. BT Sport remarked on it too. Once they...

Surprised not to see Areloa start. He wasn't on the bench was he? Denmark and Columbia are reasonable sides as well.

Its knockout football you have to stay in the game, not get pumped 4-1 by Germany like we did in 2010 which Southgate does perfectly, no matter how much people might find it uninspiring.
