Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

So Lequipe apparently reporting that Lacazette has told Lyon that he wants to leave. Could that possibly reopen the door for us? Jinxed said we had agreed terms with the player? What if Sulli gets a sniff of this, could he revisit and abandon Bacca? Would you be gutted if we got Lacazette and not C...

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

Can we just dispel this myth that we are conceding lots of late goals. Only Man City (5) have conceded less than ourselves & Arsenal (6) in the last 15 minutes of matches. Three of the six against us were penalties, two of them dubious!

Re: Norwich City v West Ham Utd: match thread

Also, for the amount of times i've been to Carrow Road over the years I can't remember winning there ever, couple of draws but thats it, I wasn't at the FA cup one a few years back. Bit of bogey side away for me. They're a bogey side at their gaff period. We've not won there in the league since Feb...

They held back restricted view seats to 1st general sale day to say it reached that. Then had queues of at least 57 for the next few days hang...

Re: Manchester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

BOYS1991 will be making the annual trip to City. we have a lot of good pals up there including their 1894 Group and it's always a decent day out. coppers up there can be a bit heavy sometimes but the fans always give us a decent welcome. similar clubs with decent hardcore fan bases. Randy would be ...

Re: Gold and Sullivan ???

All conjecture but I wouldn't be surprised if the decision about allowing new applicants priority over existing ST's is all Brady's work. Where the other two have failed is in not having the cahonas to demand a fairer process. Her trump card was probably along the lines of she wouldn't hit her ST ta...

Re: Gold and Sullivan ???

But there is also a lot of people - and I would count myself among them - who had/have serious doubts about the stewardship of the club and, while that is harder standpoint to justify after today, doubts do remain, at least as far as I'm concerned. Football is all about opinions isn't it and when y...

Re: Gold and Sullivan ???

My comment today, and my comments about this subject over the last few months, is aimed at those who completely over-exaggerate and the constant hysterics over every tiny thing to do with the club or its owners. There’s no reasoned thinking, or perspective with a lot of posters on here these days a...

Re: Gold and Sullivan ???

I am no fan of Sullivan, Brady (particularly) and Gold. I am perfectly happy to congratulate them on a good window though. We all want what's best for West Ham so it would be foolish not to give credit where its due. I'll also add that they have consistently managed to retain our better players. Ag...

Re: Liverpool v West Ham United: Match Thread

The atmosphere was great towards the end , but it's fair to say until we got our third few were totally confident we had it in the bag , and that's despite them only having had one shot on target and one that hit the post .At Anfield it's never in the bag until the final whistle blows. This complet...
