Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Excuse me. Posters who are claiming this swiss geezer is up to the job have obviously forgotten about florin Radichiou (sp) and Marco Boogers. As I correctly said. Either unproven or out of position. Crazy decision in football terms. I would be amazed if Pelli approved this one. I want an explanati...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread
Don't really feel Sanchez is given a fair time on here sometimes. He signed as a back up, not a starter and swiftly got injured. In fact, he played about 4 hours of football in total, not enough time for us to make a judgement on him. I don't see the issue with him as a backup. Completely agree. He...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread
I’m torn on the squad number conspiracy theories on Hernández. On the one hand, it’s just a number, we have other numbers so it doesn’t alter our ability to sign other players, who could wear 99 for all anyone cares. But on the flip side, the timing was odd as it came right off the back of the Gomez...

As much as I enjoyed it too, the fact many see his main highlight as taking a penalty, rather than his goalkeeping sums it up, for me at least.

Seems an odd assumption to jump to, surely it’s more likely that Cresswell and Masuaku are unfit.thejackhammer wrote:

No bother at all. And this one's for Carragher, especially. Just remind everyone about 06/01/2013 Mansfield Town v Liverpool FA Cup Third Round 1-2... Luis Suárez shot at the keeper, the ball rebounded to him at waist height & he palmed it down to score their second goal, into an empty net. Fan...

Obvious that even the commentator is embarrassed by Carragher acting as judge and jury, the Scouse twat.

Re: England Cricket Thread 2018
Some good points raised by Repka. My only concern is that it is all well and good knowing we need a new opener, but quite another thing knowing who that should be.
The lack of obvious candidates is probably the reason why Jennings has had more chances than we would normally like to give.

Adrian is utter cack.
Chicarito is useless.
Carroll is a waste of space.
Masuaku is garbage, but I think it was harsh booking him for diving.

Bairstow also seems to be quite sulky and demanding, in the context of where he bats and him keeping the gloves.
Buttler comes across as someone who will just get on with whatever is asked of him.
