Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Lost a bit of respect for Lingard tbh. When he posted his goals last year for his loan move, which he achieved and wanted to get back into the England squad people applauded him. He seemed to have the bit between his teeth and wanted to play football and get his love for the game back after admittin...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Why would Manchester United loan Lingard (out of contract in the summer) to Newcastle (more than enough money to buy him outright) ? There was some talk of this with us previously. Something along the lines of: Lingard goes on loan for fee for six months Lingard signs new Man Utd contract and colle...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Do we have any realistic chance of signing Schick, feels like another move from the chairman for an unrealistic signing..... I may be wrong Ozza but I am pretty sure Schick himself recently hinted he was only interested in a real step up for his next move. Whether or not he's good enough for that I...

Re: What did you watch last night?

Afterlife season 3. A TV show has not moved me like that for years. It borders various genres, which is what I think I really loved about the show. The season in general felt a little overdone in places, maybe slightly try-hard, but ultimately it was still fantastic television with some great moment...

Re: Running

Anyone got a decent scratch to 10km 8 week program they could share with me please? Restarting my marathon training in May but want to get back up-to-speed before then following a bad ankle injury in 2020 followed by a very lazy back end of 2021 when I should have been getting out a lot more than I ...

I think it comes back round to the Noble debate.

Great player, great servant and a very popular person but he needs to win something here.
Don't agree with that re Noble. Completely different to Antonio's scenario. For Michail I agree though.

Re: ✍ Nikola Vlasic

He looked so upset with himself when he was subbed off, I really felt for him. Put his shirt over his face and seemed so disappointed with himself I guess having been given the chance to play with Benny off at AFCON, he feels he's missed his chance to try to cement a place in the side. He has looked...

3 1/2 year contract. Let that sink in.
You support Spurs yet spend all of your spare time on a West Ham forum attention seeking.

Let that sink in.

Rumour is that Spurs want to enter into a pre contract agreement meaning he doesn't join them until the summer.

If so he can join them on a free
You cannot enter into pre-contract agreement with a player from the same league.

Re: Most overrated and underrated players

Underrated: Ogbonna (his injury has shown how key he is to the spine of our team) Overrated: Soucek. No slight on him, he’s done well for us and is such a key aerial asset in both boxes. However defensively whilst he can make key tackles I don’t think he reads the game too well and is often turned e...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

His eye for a player, his ability to improve a player, his ability to bring a player back from the brink of fans happily having them sold (Cresswell two years ago, Lanzini this summer) to being key first team players. Turning Antonio into a proper 9. Getting what it means to be West Ham and play the...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Newman searches for players that fit what Moyes wants. he then presents those options to the manager. Ultimately it's down to the manager to choose which of those players he wants. Just because we have Newman, it doesn't mean that Moyes isn't going to be doing his usual due diligence, watching play...
