My favourite player of the last decade, a joy to watch when he was fit pre-injury.
Thought there were signs of him getting back to his best last year, but just hasn’t had any game time at all this year.

Re: Goalkeeping Dilemma
At least he tries to get the ball out quickly though.
I think ‘dithering’ Fab has released the ball quickly once all season.
It’s a real gripe of mine; and something I only think you noticed if you attend the games.

Re: Goalkeeping Dilemma
Areola as keeper.
It’s just crazy to pay the money we did for him, alongside the wages he’s on and not play him.
Fabs done a good job, but he is definitely slowing down.

Re: ⚽ Derby County v West Ham Utd: match thread
Because you need Aguard fit to play 3 cbs with WBs and therefore Emerson Absolutely. I think Moyes plan all along was to play 3 cbs with wing backs, unfortunately that was scuppered with the Aguerd injury. Emerson isn’t a left back, so we were stuck with Cresswell. Playing 3 cbs also means he can g...

Re: Do you know anyone that has changed their team?
I’ve got a mate who growing up in London was a Manchester United fan.
When he went off to Manchester for university, he decided he was a Spurs fan. He still ‘supports’ them now.
It’s odd behaviour.

Re: Running
This is from my 12.5k run today.... https://i.ibb.co/7zt0wxT/10k-heart.png I'm finding those figures a little dubious. I really need to get myself one of those chest strap heart monitors. If you train to heart rate, definitely get a chest strap as watches aren’t very accurate. I personally prefer w...

Re: Michail Antonio
It puzzles me why people are lining up to take a pop at Antonio. Players are very different as people to each other just as we all are. His recent comments seemed an honest assessment of his current situation, i.e. it's not really in his control. He's been a stalwart at the club during a time of up...

Re: ✍ Gianluca Scamacca
Really feel for him, would love him to shake off this niggling injury and hit some real form just to shut up all the negative **** he is getting thrown at him. Come on Gianluca you can do it :hamm: Been such a stop start season for him, it’s a massive shame. He’ll come good. He’s got so much talent!

Re: Michail Antonio
This was last week: We are looking at other strikers because we aren’t doing it. Me or Gianluca, we both aren’t doing it. So, they are going to try and maybe bring someone else in. We see how it goes. In football, if they don’t want me, if they don’t want Gianluca, then they are going to try and ge...

Re: Michail Antonio
You know what? He was right - he was not going to be a right back in million years, and Bilic was out of his mind to play him there, and utterly out of his depth when he didn't have Payet to mask his lack of nous. Whether he was good or not in the position is a completely redundant argument. The ma...

Re: Michail Antonio
For the record I’ve been a huge supporter of Mickey, loved him whilst he’s been here, I just think he’s being a right **** at the moment for his own gains, at the expensive of the club and that’s bang out of order (imho) I’ve always thought he was crap, but now think he’s a ****! Actually no, I tho...

Re: Michail Antonio
Can’t believe he’s on a podcast talking about the things he is during the season. I’d say get rid but I don’t think we’d replace him adequately. The more I reflect on this, the more strange I think it is. He is the only fit striker at the club currently, and he is on a podcast talking about how he ...

Re: Michail Antonio
It’s pretty unprofessional I think to be speaking so openly in the media like he has in recent weeks.
Sometimes things need to stay behind closed doors. And he needs to engage his brain before opening his big mouth.
Although saying that, I’m not actually sure he has a brain.

Well, I like Sandy and I am not alone. He was runner-up in HotY and only beaten by Scott Parker who could have slept with every supporter's partner and still won. He may not have lived up to expectations, but holy ****, he was not the worst player. I give you.....Boa Morte, Dyer, Ilan, Kovac, Mido,...

Re: Michail Antonio
All this chat about him having issues , threatening retirement etc has got me thinking, how much of his failure at right back / right wing back was down to him simply not wanting or being prepared to play there? This was when I first took issue with him, as you’d see in this thread if you go back t...
