Re: Everton sack Silva

They’ve bitten the bullet after finding themselves in the relegation zone. Us next? Rumours of Moyes being lined up for a return to Goodison. I would guess that there is a contract clause that allows them to get rid without/with little compensation if they're in the relegation zone. I wonder if we ...

Re: Andriy Yarmolenko

He is being affected by Haller's loss of form. He needs someone to occupy defenders so he can ghost in with his left foot and score some goals.

Re: Who Next? The odds

Dyche has done better than Howe in my opinion. No Russian sugar daddy and has succeeded in a job Howe failed at. Bournemouth remind me of Gretna the way they have come through the leagues. I agree, he got Burnley promoted (twice), and has now successfully kept them up and finished higher than Howe ...

Howe and Dyche both lost again tonight
Form over the last 10 games has West Ham and Bournemouth both on 9 points.

Points over the last 5 games has Bournemouth bottom, having lost 4 in a row.

Maybe Nobes had a Scott Parker moment before the game.

Didn't he say in one of his post match interviews something on the lines of "If we don't run, tackle, head the ball, we won't win games"?

Rice has said that Noble gave a pregame team talk.

Amazon suit the armchair fan wonderfully. One 8:15 kick off so you can watch the second half of that game when your game of preference finishes, switching between games at will, fairly sure you'll be able to start watching late without worrying about recording or pausing. Can't see it being good new...

If we could find a way to combine the two they'd make a pretty outstanding full-back.

I would assume some play time in the FA Cup. He should probably be making the bench but with Fornals, Antonio, Haller, Ajeti, Anderson, Lanzini, Yarmolenko who drops from the squad?

An 18 year old goalkeeper. Why in God's name, do we need one of these ?
:asleep:

He's a prospect, will cost practically nothing and might make it.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

It's all about three things for me; 1) A physically imposing and energetic all round central mid; 2) Bringing Diangana back; 3) Replacing Zabaleta with a younger challenger to Fred (who is a perfectly able PL RB) We could, perhaps, shuffle in another striker. Batshuayi? Last 18 months of his contra...

The crowd chanting 'There's only one David Martin' at the end. What a moment for him and his Dad.

I love this club.

The chaps on the radio, one was Paul Parker seemed well impressed with Balbuena. Said he was winning everything. Not much mention of him on here.
Chelsea fan I spoke to said Balbuena was his Man of the Match.

Re: David Martin

My stream conked out 2 mins before the end of the match. When it came back on, the match had finished, Martin was in tears and players were crowding round him, hugging him. My first thoughts were, "oh ****, he's let in a howler!" In all seriousness, I think David Martin may well be my favouri...

Your point still stands but we were playing Brighton in the cup.

They're in the top league. Another goal for Holland and Scully as well.

Re: Who Next? The odds

In the summer Burnley bought Jay Rodriguez and a goalkeeper from Leeds for £8 million, they sold Heaton for £8 million. He knows all about budget constraints. I would be willing to give Dyche a chance. He's done a fantastic job with Burnley, it would be interesting how he does with some flair player...
