Again thanks for all the messages. We have decided to donate any money to Blesma. It's a foundation for ex service men who have lost limbs and have continued help through the charity.
Thank you again

Re: Sweeney Bod RIP
This feels wrong. Got my brothers computer back from the police and I can log into his account. A huge thanks from all of us. He will be buried on 18th June at city of London. He never wanted flowers so I've got him a lovely claret and blue union Jack for his coffin. We are all wearing west ham tops...

I have had no side effects, apart from feeling tired. As I take it just before bed, it is not an issue.WHU Independent wrote:Anyone every taken Mirtazapine? If so are there any side effects and if so what please?

You would all hate me then (which brings joy to my heart) because if I have to actually say a phone number as opposed to sending it to someone, such as this one: 07673 322204 I say "Seven thousand six hundred and seventy three million, three hundred and twenty two thousand, two hundred and fou...

I will be 50 next year and TV seems as if it is mocking me. Every other advert seems to be for some over 50 life insurance plan.

I can only agree. I certainly did not think it was a boring game as some have suggested. The Big Show wrote:Great effort by a makeshift team. Adrian barely touched the ball. A striker away from winning that by a distance . Enjoyed the game.

I agree with the comments about Byram.
Was not a pretty game, but job done. We never really looked threatened by a poor Swansea.
The Stadium is almost bearable when the sun is shining, and West Ham winning.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
This was a total fabrication that Coe conveniently spouted to justify his ridiculous plan. The IOC made it clear they had no issue with a multi-purpose stadium or with football being played in it. Indeed, we only narrowly beat France, and they planned to use Stade de France for the Olympics if they...

Missing this one because of a bad chest cold, so will have to brave the depravity of the match thread. Let the knicker wetting begin.

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
I agree with Mumbles. A player's value is only what a buying club is prepared to pay when it is a situation such as Payet's. It's not my money, but I see little point in paying his wages to rot with the under 23s.

Re: West Ham United V Crystal Palace: Match thread
At half time I was coming nvinced it would be 0-0. The change of formation for the second half worked wonders. I had my mate and two strangers hugging me as I was trying to celebrate and at the same time watch the replay of Andy's goal on the big screen. Talk about multi tasking. The goal is easily ...

Re: Francois van der Elst R.I.P.
In a modern era in which we have fielded a team with only two English players, it is hard to think back to an era in which Van Der Elst's signing was almost exotic.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Boleyn Hound, Interesting question. I first started going to games in the 70s so I am closer to 50 than 20. I think there are at least two major reasons why the atmosphere is not as hot as it was, (and it was better, with singing starting half hour before kickoff). Firstly terracing allowed like min...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
I know it's probably been asked already but I can't find the answer. Anyone know why the retractable seating doesn't cover the large green spaces around the pitch. Why can't more seats be put in get rid of the curve shape around the pitch in a rectangular fashion to cover up the big green spaces an...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
here's an idea - let's embrace the stadium and use it to our benefit and to make more money! we could have dog racing on the running track before/after/at half time! or even during the game really. also you could put on an indoor market on in the concourse, maybe even a car boot sale! I'm sure ther...
