Re: Jesse Lingard
Think sometimes it's easy to forget footballers are people too. Jesse has had a number of family problems over the last couple of years, he co-parents his young daughter. There is more to his life then just football. Its not easy however rich you are to commit to living a 4 hour drive to see your ch...

Re: RA hands over Chelsea to charitable foundation [non WHU]
Sullivan has had his best summer window ever. Vlasic and Zouma are affectively free if the reports in the papers are true. What a genius

Re: âš½ Leicester City v West Ham Utd: match thread
I love the man but today was on Moyes, we came up against a terrible defence today and we should of took advantage, definitely feels like 2 points dropped. Everyone and Zoumas cat could see that Coufal was struggling against Barnes, Johnson should of come on at half-time, we gave them the momentum a...

Re: Burnley vs West Ham Utd: match thread
Don't think we where terrible and some of the comments on here are shocking. We are not a top four side yet, the difference is games like today. Chelsea can bring on Lukaku, Pulisic, Hudson Odoi or Ziyech Man City can bring on Mahrez, Forden, DeBruyne Liverpool Jota or Firminho, origi. Man utd Jesse,...

Would be over the moon with Tarkowski, lingard and a loan to buy for either Origi or Martial.

Re: Ben Johnson
I think his best position will be RCB in a back three. He’s not big enough to be a CB in a back four and he’s not good enough on the ball to be a full-back or wing-back in a back four or five. He has excellent defensive qualities and reads the game well, so the right side in a back three would suit...

Wouldn't be surprised if these rumours are coming from our board. They would love to get their hands on 100 million it pays for our next 3 transfer windows, they'll also make it look like Rice's fault.

Re: Takeover talk
As a previous poster mentioned I believe Noble has a property portfolio with Rio and Bobby. Rio has personal branded himself through Twitter since his playing days. He is now non-exec Director to a number of companies, he knows big players and it wouldn't surprise me if his invested in this himself....

I'd go for a similar formation to how we ended on Monday, we looked a lot more fluid in the ball.
Fabianski
Coufal
Dawson
Cresswell
Fredericks
Johnson
Soucek
Rice
Benrahma
Lingard
Antonio

Re: Mipo Odubeko
He's played an hour against Manchester United. Yep, not the most remarkable performance - the physicality will be way above what he's used to - but there were a couple of neat lay offs. He's 18. He will have learned about the physical level that proper PL standard football demands. Good experience ...

Loved Moyes interview on the front page. https://www.kumb.com/story.php?id=135275
Seems we have a manager brave enough to take our board on.

Re: January 2021 Transfer Window
I see this as Moyes battling for the power to look after Transfers, he is clever enough to know that if he continues to let Sullivan suggest and buy players his squad harmony and balance will be effected. I believe he let Sullivan get his way in the summer, I reckon Eze was Moyes top target and Benr...

Re: January 2021 Transfer Window
Lingard is a stop gap until the end of the season as Lanzini can't cut it, Yammo might be our forward option and we need cover in numerous positions. My gut feel is that he would be the one pushing for a non perm move as he will think he can play and push his way back into the reckoning for Man Utd...

Dawson Signed
RLC or Liverpool midfield signed on loan
Late failed loan bid for Arnie.
Rice moves to CB with the new loan player taking his place in Midfield.
Money saved.
Sullivan doesn't need viagra after a window like this.

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread
Huh? VVD is a terrific player who is maybe the best CB in just about any style, he transformed Liverpool in part because he can do everything exceptionally well. Tarkowski is much more one-dimensional as a defender, he might transform us into Burnley if we wanted to play that way, but he's not a tr...

Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller
Thought he tried last night, held the ball up on a few occasion laid it off to one of our attackers run towards the box no return. Problem he is facing in the team we played with last night neither Anderson or Yarmelenko look to get a cross in, both prefer to shoot. The wing backs who I'm guessing w...
