Re: Away Tickets Thread - Another year nearly complete

Phil, can you please stop trying to use some logic to support your point?

People would much rather just throw their toys out of the pram and cry "closed shop" because they don't get their little day out at Tottenham or Chelsea, come on now mate

Re: Crush/Stewarding at Leverkusen.

The seating area was empty and the lower tier back rows had no-one standing in them. I have no idea why our fans insisted in standing in the lower half and wouldn’t move further up towards the back. This. We were in the second to back row, and had plenty of empties/space around us. Also seen a phot...

Re: Where will we finish?

Looking like we might have to go to Chelsea and win now to qualify for Europe again, whichever competition, they're now only two points behind with two games in hand.

The Newcastle result will be the one that comes back and bite us on the arse if we just miss out

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

Home side almost always wins this fixture over the last few seasons, now might be a good chance to get a rare win at Molineux.

I’d put Aguerd in for Zouma to save his legs for Thursday, also start Alvarez as he’s suspended again for Leverkusen.

Re: 👋 Farewell, Said Benrahma

Glad the move is working out for Benrahma, history will show him to have mostly been a good player for us, those last few months here will fade as the years tick on.

Pleased for him, and Misko!

Non-League Day

Anyone else off to a game today?

Doing Wealdstone-Kidderminster, then heading over to Wembley for England-Brazil; Wealdstone were offering £5 tickets for England ticket holders or STHs of the 92 league clubs

Re: (WHU related) FA CUP Lack of semi final appearances.

Without trawling through record books I'm fairly sure that from the present PL there are clubs who have appeared in fewer. Apologies if I've got it wrong but I give you Aston Villa Brighton Wolves Fulham Bournemouth Palace Brentford Forest Burnley In any case the F A Cup isn't any guide, at least i...

Re: Freiburg - Leverkusen

Hopefully Leverkusen drop a few points between now and the 11th, want them to be prioritising that title race. Whilst they’re 10 points clear they can afford to go full strength against us in both legs

Re: ✍ Welcome, Kalvin Phillips

We'd be far better off recalling Flynn Downes next season then spending anywhere near 35m on Phillips, it just hasn't worked out for him unfortunately. If Leeds are to come back up, I'd like to see him go back there and get his form back, a good player but can't see it ever being in a West Ham shirt

Do you need to buy tickets for the trams, or can you use a contactless card to pay when on board? Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24

Have we got a potential delay on knowing the day of the game if Benfica and Sporting both get through and we draw one of them? I know we played Olympiakos the same night as Panathinaikos were at home in the Group Stage this year but also remember when they moved Betis's game against Eintracht back ...

2014/15 comparisons?

Feel like I'm stuck in a time-loop with Big Sam's last six months. After beating Leicester the week before Christmas, we were 4th. We did next to nothing in the January window and only won three more league games, slumping to 12th, with us all having to settle for sarcastically cheering every Everto...

Liverpool and Leverkusen both being in the thick of title races can only be a good thing for the rest of us still in, let’s hope they’re both distracted with bigger priorities come March/April

Re: Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

This lot could go bust, reform as AFC Newton Heath in the Salford Sunday League, draw us in the FA Cup and we’d still lose at Old Trafford.

A bang-average Man United compared to the past and we still can’t get a thing up there
