Not sure somewhere north of the M4 should count as South West.

Re: England Rugby/Six nations 2023

It also took the ref over 50 minutes to ping Ireland for coming in at the side of the ruck and not one penalty for hands in there either. I thought it was the worst ref performance I have ever seen.

Congrats to Ireland though as I thought they would slide after BOD retired.

Re: England Rugby/Six nations 2023

Mitchell's even slower than Van Poortvliet at the back of the ruck. I would dispute that and he is light years quicker than the record cap holder at getting the ball moved away from a ruck. He is the best I have seen in years at getting into position, but was not particularly good today. There were...

I forgot to mention that his name is Billy. :crest:

I haven't told the wife why I was so keen on this over the other options.

Re: "Too late to save the environment"

Do bicycles cause congestion or pollution? In more rural locations one bicycle holding up multiple vehicles, especially lorries on hills, causes far more congestion and pollution than if the cyclist was in a car and all of the other vehicles could drive normally. PS I have nothing against cy...

I would also like to see Arundell a bit more time to see if he can do it at international level.

Re: "Too late to save the environment"

When the last ice age ended there wasn't a single internal combustion engine on the planet. Britain has fluctuated between being under ice and having a Mediterranean climate throughout history and at no point was humankind responsible. That is both a fact and complete rubbish when you look at the cu...

Re: Little things in life that make you smile

My absolute favourite breed of dog. They're proper characters but can be a handful. You have to show them who's boss and even then they can be as stubborn as anything. They're great fun though and have great personalities. My sister-in-law has one and it's called Petal. It's built like a tank and w...

I have already given up the Sky F1 subscription for this year (although still a few weeks to run). I only watched the highlights so it only took 5 minutes of my life.

We got an English Bull Terrier pup at the weekend. Love him to bits already.

Having completed the test and read the thread I am Burnley Hammer. The similarities are uncanny. My wife and I are pretty certain that I am somewhere on the "spectrum" but I don't want a label. She gets really annoyed when speaking to me and I am just somewhere else - it isn't that I am no...

I didn't think Smith had been dropped - rather sent back to his club to get some game time? I think he will re-join the squad after the weekend.

Being as Soucek played the quick free kick that started the move for Declan's goal and was involved in the passing move on the right prior to the 4th goal I am not sure this is the game to question his passing ability.

Snow etc. The met office cannot reliable predict the weather beyond 5 days unless we are stuck under a huge high pressure system blocking other weather conditions affecting us. The predictions of what the weather will do further than a week ahead usually cont...
