Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Southampton:Match thread (29/02)

They always try very hard against fancy teams like Liverpool, Chelsea etc. Taking the game to them like it's a cup final.

Will they do the same against a team like Soton and without the away game-advantage?

Time will tell, recent years history says no.

We can confirm that Tomas Soucek suffered a low grade injury last night and is likely to be out for approximately three weeks.

I'm sure the witch doctor or whatever is hired in that departement makes sure he's out for the season.

So...the real supporters should just give up and fold before the kick off as well? Is that what he's saying?

We were all one dimensional in not trusting the experience of the top class keeper Roberto. He's played in the Champions League, don't you know?

Re: The weekends other games 22/02

The only thing Kun Aguero don't manage that well as a striker is penalties.

I have no idea why he keeps taking them, poor record from the spot.

We'll fool them into only beating us by 3 or 4 - they'll probably think they've won afterwards, but we know better

Come on feel the Moyes!

I know right? It's as they have more interest in trying to get points than worry about the goal difference - we luckily know better

Re: The weekends other games 22/02

I looked at the stats for that one a few minutes ago when it was 1-0 - 25 shots to 3. Yeah, none of them really threatening Sotons goal, including the one getting them the corner. Credit to Grealish though, despite being in a team not good enough for the league, he's looked like he's on a mission e...

Re: The weekends other games 22/02

2-0 Soton, empty goal because Villa had a corner in the other end. So they managed a shot on goal

TV just said Southampton's shots/on target was 20/5 and Villa's was 0/0. Can that be right?!
I'm watching the game and that's right.
Villa look as lost as West Ham do.

Still everything to play for though, Soton are wasting their chances and are the worst home team in the league,

VAR overturned a clear straight red card for Lo Celso against Azpilicueta. I guess football is all about the VAR now, stealing the show every week.

"Who in the right mind would expect the same result against Liverpool as against Norwich?"

I'm obviously not right in the head, I expect 0 points from those games :D

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

After he had to come on in the cup he said it himself. He obviously used other words, can't rely on him every week, that he's pushing 33 etc
Don't even have to read between the lines that he's disillusioned, tired and fed up. You can even see it on his face,
