Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Plenty on here derided Moyes before a ball was kicked last time he was here to clean up the Bilic mess. He ended up doing a decent job and when he wasn’t extended most cheered and promptly forgot to even acknowledge the decent job he did. That professional job he did was rationalised away with half...

Re: Adrián San Miguel del Castillo

Good on the lad, anything he achieves he's more than earned in my eyes. As a professional player you don't get many chances to win things, let alone be the pivotal player. Nice to see one of the sport's good guys getting the rub of the green.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Zaha & VAR are a match made in heaven for opposition teams. Perhaps this combined with silly fees has stymied any interest in him?

That announcement vid. Wow. Did the young chap (not fornals) do this as part of his media degree? And will be dining out on this for years to come. Bit like Troy McClure from the simpsons. "You may remember me from such videos as Pablo Fornals signing" Anyway, welcome Pablo. Looks good fr...

Browns finally do it

I don't follow American Football much, but have always had a soft spot for the Cleveland Browns, feeling like they're a little similar to the Irons. Delighted to see them finally get their first win since Christmas Eve 2016, well done lads.

Christ. I logged on to see if Perez was done, and the moaners are out in full force. Ffs. This has been an immense window for us, beefing up our attack to possibly the strongest it has ever been, beefed up our defence, added Wilshire and upgraded Adrian. Now we are swappign Hugill for Perez, and po...

Word of the day Today: “outwith” (TOMOS). An archaic Highland term meaning “outside of”. This place is very educational. I use 'outwith' a fair amount, useful word when discussing financial aspects & wanting to leave no ambiguity or room for misinterpreting data. Understand it's fairly popular ...

I was pondering this one as I tried to get back to sleep this morning; is this the biggest game for the club since our play-off final win, or is it even bigger given all of the changes the club has endured?
