Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Not only that, but what's he like with balls rifled into his general direction with a CB or two climbing on his back - if he can hold up and protect the ball and make a sensible layoff then that'd be great. He also needs to hold it for a while longer than he might expect, as the cavalry may well st...

Bullet Train - Brad Pitt, some bloke from Shogun, the next James Bond. Enjoyable, Guy Ritchie-esque stuff.

Martin Gore supports Arsenal. Dave Gahan supports Chelsea though, as did Andy Fletcher. My brother knew Fletcher. Said he was a really nice fella. Here he is being used for comfort purposes by Harvey. https://scontent-lhr6-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/289148308_10166554858865480_742502762616112926_...

Re: Russian invasion of Ukraine

With the consensus being anti-Russia on here (obviously understandably, and the camp I'm in), I do appreciate when ToMoS tries to give some objective balance, which clearly can be seen as pro-Russian. (That's how I see it anyway) https://scontent-lhr6-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/335141376_14398675...

I don’t think that’s the case. The game is littered with cases of quality players not settling abroad. Angel Di Maria is a prime example.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Usually hate these "I'm so smart hyping up the next big thing" threads, but this guy looks like a great fit for Moyes. Full back converted to winger. Consistent delivery from out wide (open plays and set pieces). Does the dirty work.Thriving in a team that doesn't care about possession. T...

Re: Little things that irritate you

Listing something for sale on Facebook Market Place, so many people waste your time. Usual questions, is it still available, does it come with x,y,z, can you deliver, will you take £30 lower than what you have it up for sale for and the most annoying one, is it still available, you reply yes and th...

Re: West Ham Utd V Burnley: match thread - 10.03.24

Heaven forbid you give credit to the manager and players for digging themselves out of a hole. Frankly, it once again underlined the strong mentality of the squad. Fair enough, we only got a draw. But it ended up being a very entertaining match. Isn’t that what people were looking for? The same man...
