Re: Sunday Supplement

That was my thought Believer.
I'm no legal expert, but just wondered if SKY decided to issue a "full" point by point apology because that's what their legal advisors instructed them to do, or in fact they were using the statement to serve as a reminder to everyone of the issues.

Re: Sunday Supplement

Thinking about it, could Shreeves have not just expressed a summary apology to the owners of WHU for "comments on last week's show" instead of actually running over the charge sheet again point by point? In doing so it served as a great reminder of all the issues for viewers.

WHU staff departures this week.......

1) The DJ who played Kaiser Chiefs "I predict a riot" at half time last Saturday
2) The website content Manager this afternoon

Her Bradyship thanked both minions for their loyal service to the club and wished them well in their future careers.......

Re: Sunday Supplement

Matt Law.....top drawer this morning, absolutely caned GSB - great to see some of these journos getting off the fence at last (Matt Dickinson chose his words a tad more diplomatically.) Moved on pretty quickly to Chelsea, must have got word in their earpieces to leave it at that on WHU.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Have been using the Builders regularly but it has been closed the past few games. Posed the question myself on Fbook LLTB, seems the old guvnor (who used to sit in the corner of the side bar) has sold up and the place is going to be refurbished. No idea if it will re-open as a pub though? That's abo...

Listening to Moose being asked to comment after the Brady SKY interview was excrutiatingly diplomatic. Not many journos will get off the fence easily.

Re: Are YOU happy at the Olympic/London Stadium?

Been going since 63-64 season and had ST's more years than not (several overseas work postings.) Can really sum the experience up in a word......sterile. Having said this, if you can accept what modern day PL / SKY football has become and how it's permeated all aspects of the experience, then what w...

Re: No Headed Goals this season !?

Yes, heard that.....
No surprise when we won't put a decent ball in, but check and pass the ball back towards the halfway line. Also it would be nice to see a corner with some height to clear the near post.
