Re: Stoke City v West Ham Utd: match thread

Stoke haven't been great, we're improved out of any recognition to the Palace and Liverpool games, Arnautovic will be on a mission... Provided that our defence stays solid, looks like Collins for Reid will be the only change, then we must be in with a chance of grabbing something. I think that we mi...

There's no way we would have won that in recent times, we looked like a team.

Re: West Ham -United -v- Chelsea Match Thread

Decent performance, effort, more ground covered, better shape, game plan kept to, defend as a team, tracking back and covering, individuals looking on form... Is this really West Ham I'm describing. You could see improvement second half v Leicester and last week v Man City, now lets crack on and get...

That was decent, first game played with our brains for yonks.

What a pity that we couldn't quite pull it off.

Nothing like a relegation performance.

We looked decent in the first half, clean sheet would be nice however it's done.

Re: Man City v West Ham United - Match Thread

More than happy with that, decent disciplined performance within tactics that are working.

We had a few half chances as well as the goal, decent downward header like a strikers goal.

Our entire team cost not much more than £50m.
Against that background Gold is worth £350m

Sullivan is worth £1000m

And Sheikh Mansour is worth 17 Billion !

Hrrnamdes got injured as soon as Moyes was promoted as coach..now more and more injured players..curious if it is a bad coincidence or.. Re: Man City v West Ham United - Match Thread

Looks like it's soak them up and try to catch them on a break stuff to me.

4-4-1-1 on the break 4-6-0 or 4-5-1 most of the time.

I guess it has as much chance as anything.

Bench looks light.

Re: Man City v West Ham United - Match Thread

Somebody will beat City at their gaff this season and when it happens will depend more on them having an off day than on the quality of the visitors. Do I think it will be us, no. Do I think were likely to be soundly beaten, yes. But somebody will beat them and who knows when their off day will be. ...

Re: Everton -v West Ham United - Match Thread

Provided that we graft like we did against Leicester then we must be in with a chance against this lot, if not then at least it's honest enough which is basically all that I've been wanting for the passed eighteen months.

A bit of honesty and pride back.

Re: Andy Carroll

The two issues I see right now, which have been going on for awhile now. 1) We play it up to Carroll, but no one plays off of him. Should be an ideal player to play off, Kevin Nolan used to do it well enough. Wasn't his day at Watford was it, took a barracking off the fans for what he'd said, then ...

Re: Gold and Sullivan ???

So the point I'm trying to illustrate is that six of the ten most recent posts from that particular account (which is just one of many examples) are in praise of Ms Brady, whether it be for her newspaper column or TV show. That's either a shill, or a lunatic. Tuppence short of a shilling maybe... T...
